Was going to wait until next Friday to post this incredible photobook but think a few sites may have posted them already plus knew so many of Minami's fans were dying to see the entire book. Thought this might have been a post to celebrate it becoming the best selling PB of all time. That celebration will have to be put on hold for a few weeks as "Passport" had a huge resurgence in sales as it topped the charts last week with this book coming in second. Not positive but think "Passport" has now sold about 385,000 copies, with sales of 12,600 last week this book has now sold ~367,000 copies.
It'll eventually become the best selling photobook of all time but just a few weeks later then expected. There's been a total printing of 500,000 copies but sales for this book have remained steady since it's December 13th release and wouldn't doubt if that total amount of copies printed will be increasing soon. Wonder if Minami is shocked at these sales, she's always been a popular announcer but in the past year she's really become a superstar and you can say you discovered her here first!
Have been posting about Minami since January of last year, she was a known person back then but not to the extent she is now. The question that may arise down the road is how do you top something like this? Perhaps you can't and this book will soon be known as the standard for all photobook sales. The photo shoot took place in Barcelona but in all honesty could have taken place anywhere as there aren't that many outdoor pics. On to those pics which total a hundred and there's really nothing more I can say about Minami who last year was my number one fave.
