Not going to do a review on this drama, these posts which there are three in all is for a mega amount of screenshots of Manami from this series in what was a real good role for her plus she looks amazing as usual throughout the series, especially during her 'fake kidnapping' scene which is in the next post, here's a quickie synopsis though from dramawiki:
Toru is a young part-timer who has no interest in social issues. He gets called in as a juror in the trial of a woman labeled as a "witch", charged with a murder over an enormous inheritance. Though it appears that she is definitely guilty, one by one the jurors begin casting their votes for "not guilty." From the shadows, there is a mysterious organization buying control of the jury. At the same time, strange events start happening around Toru. When another juror is threatened, Toru is determined to save her. However, Toru's girlfriend Kaori, a newspaper reporter, seems suspicious of their relationship. And so, Toru begins his lonely fight for the truth.
More to it than that but that's mainly what it's about, highly recommend this show, probably in my top 5 dramas, have now viewed it 4 times and never get tired of it. Manami plays a reporter named Kaori who's boyfriend gets assigned to a murder trial and she also gets assigned to cover it for her newspaper. Give a little description with each post of what Kaori did for those episodes, these are from the first three episodes which really just sets the story up, Kaori like the jurors too is being used by the group trying to fix the trial, she meets the accused murederer in prison many times during the series as they are hoping she'll write some favorable stories so the public will feel sympathy for her.
