Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Masami Nagasawa: Toshi Densetsu no Onna episode 1 recap and screenshots

Will try not to make this recap too long, sure if you view all the screenshots between this and the next post you'll be able to follow what happened fairly easily. For the most part the show is the same as season one except some of the cast has changed as when Tsukiko(Masami) has returned to the police department her old unit has been disbanded but a new one made especially for called the UIU has been formed.
At the end of season 1 Tsukiko had joined the FBI and was working in NYC, over in America she became quite a hero as she stopped a major terrorist attack, looks she did it single handily. Wasn't explained but shortly after that she returned to Japan and is back with most of her old partners, she's still searching for an urban legend that committed a crime.

Tsukiko's first case involved an urban legend called "Mossy" who rumor had it lived in one of the lakes around Mt. Fuji and was supposed to be a creature like the Loch Ness Monster. A professor who for 25 years had done much searching for Mossy and was supposed to release his findings to the public was found murdered near one of Mt. Fuji's lakes, there were many suspects but of course only someone like Tsukiko could get to the bottom of it. And of course Tsukiko did but once again to her disappointment the murderer was just a person and no urban legend was involved in the crime, will she ever find a crime done by one of those legends?

Kept this recap brief as I've just done 13 posts and my mind's getting a bit watery but needed to do this before I forgot what happened. Think it'll be a continuation of season one as far as the kind of cases that Tsukiko solves, that's fine with me as this was one of my top dramas from 2012. Ratings started off a bit a bit lower, season one averaged a 9.7% and this started off with a 8.4% but as long as the show remains interesting would think the ratings would start going up. Check out the next post as there's 35 more screenshots from this episode, hard not to take so many pics of Masami as she looks mighty terrific as usual.
