Rena Moriya: Her eagerly awaited beguiling seventeenth post....

 

 Sigh, this being her first post in seven months would have hoped that enthusiasm level would be much higher, sigh.... the younger generation! So while it'll never be like it once was here doing posts for '46' groups think they will be increasing and who better to begin that revival with?! Don't know if it'll be on March 1st but in the first week of next month will have a photobook for a recently graduated Hina member and my wish was granted for I had been praying that she would have a book for years! Then after that will have two regular posts for a pair of Hina current members plus at least one for a Keya gal. So there could be five posts next month and have explained many times why the posts for current Idols have slowed down and not going to repeat myself. But briefly I still like most members of Keya and Hina though the music and variety shows don't interest me as much as they once did. Bet that opinion also goes for many of you readers out there as your tastes in things do change and perhaps they wouldn't have if more of my favorite members had stayed.

 However Rena is a huge fave of mine as she's my #1 second generation member and though this is her first post since July would love to do as many as I could but it sadly hasn't been possible for her or any other current Idols. Soon all of the 1G members will be gone so when will the exodus of 2G members begin? Rena hit the age of 25 back on January 2nd and she's the third oldest second generation gal and don't know why but don't think the members will be fleeing as quickly as the 1G members did.

 Sure a few readers recall the long stretch Keya(Sakura) had shortly after the 2G members joined. The group went twenty months without releasing a new single so though the gals are getting older their careers haven't been as long as others their age. Plus Sakura is more popular than ever as their last two singles have been their best selling ones plus their latest came out this week so why leave now? Yet in an odd twist the more popular the group has become the less solo activities we see from the members. Such as Rena who used to appear regularly in magazines but not so many these days which has become more common with most Idols. She does still have a weekly segment on the "Love It" show but wish she would so more acting and why hasn't there been a group drama for almost two years?

 Didn't count the photos but it should be a large post with about a hundred of them and almost all are new for here. So while a hundred pics is a lot in a way it isn't considering this is her first post in seven months. Will begin off with some recent pics from Rena's IG page, the bottom two are from her 25th birthday celebration and the two before that are of the group. My favorite is the first pic and if you haven't checked out her photobook post what have you been waiting for?!

 Have a batch of group cards that have come out since October and could have had more. You will see some below for Halloween, Christmas, their fourth tour and for the group's anniversary.

 "Uni's on Air" is a web game featuring the member's voices from Keya and Hina. For so many years the game released magnificent monthly pics to promote it but that stopped last April and these days the pics come out sporadically. But they do look just as terrific as ever, below have game pics(four a month) that came out in January, December, September and June.

 What's been so popular here have been 'Pairs Posts' but haven't done any of them for well over a year and they never have been easy to do. But will make an effort to have one in the near future with Rena and her 2G mate who is also so overdue for a post.... not overdue for the lack of trying on my part but it's so difficult these days do have posts for current J-Pop Idols though sure many have noticed that's not the case for quite a graduates.

 Also way overdue for a post is my #1 woman 😍 of all time but fairly sure she will have one next weekend though I need more than one to satisfy me.... sob sob sob sob....

 Will end off with a trio of magazine spreads though two have been posted before. Am having them again for sure many of you viewers have never seen either for Rena's posts have seen such a huge dip in views the past two years and wonder why? Maybe because they come sporadically these days yet that shouldn't be a reason Rena's posts are always so superb. One other reason could be for the lack of new gravure photos which could be the top reason, I also think that Keya aka Sakura has lost a lot of fans here over the last two years and is that because of their top members leaving? This first spread is exactly a year old and is from the Spring 2024 edition of Platinum Flash which is published in each of the four seasons.

 Second up for spreads is this set from the August issue of Entame. Rena used to be a model for the Anan magazine but rarely had any spreads for them and not sure if she's still with them.

 Last up is this new spread from the March 6th issue of Weekly Shonen Champion. When I saw this spread knew a post had to be done and you will notice she was the cover girl for all three magazines. It's worth reading up on Rena's Keya story as even though she passed the audition in 2018 she wasn't a regular member and as fate had it when another 2G member left in February 2020 she was promoted so though it may be hard to believe she was so close to never being known to any of us! Keya has their own YT channel for members to upload their own videos. There is no recent solo one but after the pics is a video featuring some short clips of members visiting their hometowns during the holiday break. Rena's segment begins at the 13:37 mark but it is worth viewing the entire video if you're a fan of the group and glad I did for there were some members I was slightly missing....
