Wasn't planned but did take yesterday off, this may be the only post for today but will have 155 photos and this will truly be one of the top posts of the year... or past five years! Yuria 😍 is a woman I have been semi head over heels for since about 2015 and had things worked out better she's the type of woman who regularly finishes in the top ten for my yearly faves list, actually for her top five is more like it! But will confess I did forget about her too often after her September 2017 graduations from both AKB and SKE. Did see Yuria in a pair of episodes for the late 2019 drama "CHEAT" and she honestly looked better than ever but then not much was heard from her for a while after that.
Yuria did have some health issues and had actually retired from show biz for a while which lasted from late 2021 until 2023. She's back now and while not overly busy has started a fan club, has done a few guest spots on some dramas and is currently in a stage play. It's hard doing posts for new activities these days but have been noticing her around a bit more and eight days ago she celebrated her 29th birthday. So it's been about 7 1/2 years since her graduations and though I like
Yuria 😍 immensely did think she left those groups too early.
Gulp, wish they had the picture of me catching that and it's turned out to be my most prized possession! The photobook is huge with 122 pics but also have a few other things for today to make this an epic post, first off are these newish pics from
Yuria's IG page. She doesn't post all that many photos there and you can see one for her upcoming fan club birthday party that will take place in five days, the bottom pic is with an ex-SKE mate who oddly had a post less than a week ago.
Sigh, keep promising to do a 'Pairs Post' for this duo who are very close friends but it hasn't quite worked out yet but vow to do it soon.
Akari's second photobook was just released and she has three events for it coming up so should be able to do a pair of posts for her in the next 3-4 weeks.
"Stagedoor" was
Yuria's second photobook, sadly it will probably be her final one. It was released on September 15 2017 and on that day there was a fan meeting session for the book, didn't she look so ultra adorable!
To promote the book
Yuria did have two magazine spreads that featured some outtake pics, this first set is from the October 2017 issue of
Entame.
Second spread to promote the book is from the September 26, 2017 edition of
Flash and it's nice to have encore viewings of
Yuria's older spreads or for other women also as I bet most have never seen these sets or had forgotten all about them.
Yuria does have some fans here as a repost of her first book "Peace" has been the eighth most viewed post of the past month. As terrific as that book was this one is so much better and was in my top five for 2017 photobooks which is saying something as back then there were so many more Idol books. This was another book I had cut in half to make two posts when one would have been enough, I also screwed up by having part two first so it's about time I fixed that error plus the quality of these pics is slightly better. The photo shoot took place in Thailand which is a very popular spot for Idol books, think her first took place in Vietnam. There's 122 pics in this photobook, the first four of the post and there's 118 below....
Yuria isn't nearly as bodacious as other Idols or most gravure models but on the
Alluring Scale she truly beats out about 99+% of those women!!!!
