Yuki Yoda: Who better to end off a month with?!

 

 Back to back posts featuring a Nogi member though of course both are now gone from the group but it's been eons since that has happened.... there's also a chance it'll be three in a row as hopefully can begin off March with another departed member! It had also been eons since Yuki had a post here but broke down and did one four days ago for her. She was a rapidly rising favorite of mine but back at the end of 2022 was involved in some sort of mini scandal which you can read up on. Well, to an extent as Nogi's management did whitewash the incident and as time went gone on thought to myself that I still did like Yuki quite a bit so seeing as that scandal wasn't too major all should be forgiven and these two posts will just be the start of many more.

 Was thinking of having two more posts in March for recent activities plus there still are many things from 2023-24 that had never been posted here. Then if I do get a few comments asking for it will post Yuki's first ever book which I haven't done yet and that would be done in April. Then in mid-May or perhaps even on June 1st will have her third photobook that came out two weeks ago and will it be her final one ever? The pics are so breathtaking I certainly hope not and wish that Hina/Keya would also allow their members to have multiple books as it's only happened once between them. Will still be following Yuki and when she has enough new things will do posts for her, she seems like someone who could have a decent solo career. Doubt if she would follow in the footsteps of her ex-mate in the post below this one but who wouldn't want to see her have a gravure career?!!!!

 Right above are two pics from her second photobook which of the four is my favorite, included her mini Triangle book as her fourth. March is when I plan on getting back to viewing and recapping Japanese dramas, I was so burnt out on them and needed an extended break. A fun 2022 series was "Ryosangata Riko," which Yuki had the lead role in, did recap the entire ten episode drama. Since then two more seasons have come out so though I have four other drams I had planned on viewing first it may be better to begin off with season two of that show which has been subbed. Yuki hasn't appeared in any other dramas outside of Nogi but did have an important role in the 2020 film "Grand Blue", that I have seen and the way she looked in that swimsuit.......

 Sigh, a man can dream can't he?!?!?!?!?!

 Do have Yuki's final concert that was streamed and took place on February 23rd in her hometown of Fukuoka. I've become so tired of watching graduation concerts as there's just too many of them, still can't understand why members don't stay with their groups longer? Eight years and five months was the length of time she was with Nogi and may have some screenshots in her next post from the show but prefer these here which are backstage ones from the concert.

 At one time Nogi used to have four card collections and to me those sets were always superb. However these days the number released has really decreased, in Yuki's last post had some for 2024 and have even more here but this is it so instead of a hundred we now get two dozen....

 

 There's a fair amount of magazine spreads from 2023-24 to post but not nearly as many as you would think. they've really slowed down for J-Pop Idols the last four years. In Yuki's last post had a pair of missed semi older spreads and will another for today which features here as the cover girl of the May 2023 issue of EX-Taishu, still have at least three more you will see in future posts.

 Yuki often is the cover girl for the magazines she appears in, she has that honor once again for this new spread from the February 18th issue of Flash which features outtake pics from her new book. Now that she's graduated would love to see a few digital books but don't hold your breath dreaming of that....

 Yuki's third and possibly final photobook has the simple title of "Yoda" and couldn't anyone think of something that would have been more catchy or original? The book was released on February 12th, the same day she held an event for it at the Tsutaya bookstore in Shibuya. That's been a busy place this month for (ex)Idols as three other faves of mine also held an event there for a photobook. Plenty of fine looking pics from the event though of course there's no videos from it, that's always been the case for the three '46' groups and will never understand why they don't allow videos of an event.

 The photo shoot for Yuki's third book took place in and around Cairns, Australia which is in the NE section of the country and so many Idols have gone there for their books. First week sales were 82,400 copies sold which is a solid number these days but much lower than her second book. The first pair of pics below are the covers, the bottom five are from the photo shoot. All of the other streamy pics(!) are from the actual book which I do have already but my long standing rule is to wait three months before posting an Idol book as not to affect sales. Yuki's last official video with Nogi was hosting 'Showroom' on January 31st to plug the new book, that video is after the pics.
