Miori Takimoto: Perfect Blue drama episode 9 recap and screenshots

Thought this series was going to have a total of 10 episodes, was wrong on that as it's going to be 11 which is a good thing as this drama is ending on a really suspenseful note, last 3 episodes are not a 3 parter but are connected for the most part. In episode 9 Kayuko(Miori) and her partners at the detective agency are looking for who is threatening the ace pitcher of a baseball team, the list as usual is quite long but ends up narrowing to one suspect, the pitcher's ex best friend. He was the one doing the threatening but there was actually some above him who of course end up being nabbed, but the story with those two doesn't end there as in the beginning of the next episode the pitcher is brutally murdered and his friend ends up committing suicide, once again the blame went towards him but as it turns out it wasn't him again, plus he didn't kill himself but was also a murder victim.
I'll get to it more once I view the final episode but have been saying along that this has been a fine drama but would have been so much better if they had started to look for the killer of Kayuko's father earlier, they have now and it's paying off as these last 2 episodes plus probably the last one have been top notch. Turns out the pitcher who was murdered is loosely connected with her father's death 7 years prior along with a few of the other characters in the show, it's leaving us hanging as this drama has gotten quite suspenseful and interesting because of that, plus at the detective agency there was a traitor among them, the identity was finally revealed but only a bit of the reasons why she was a traitor have come out. There really was a lot more that happened but going to wait until I view the final episode to fill in some of the blanks and will have a much more detailed overview of the ending and series, it's been an enjoyable watch and as said before, one that comes recommended.... as usual ending off with many Miori screenshots from the episode plus check out the next post for many of her from episode 10.
