Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. C-ute: The historical "℃-ute Last Official Book"....

Have another streak of consecutive days with at least one post that has reached thirteen and came so close to letting it end today but obviously didn't, perhaps tomorrow. Sure this post to keep the streak alive won't be too popular and outside of their photobooks most C-ute posts weren't though how few views a post may get never has stopped me before and never will. If you've been a long time visitor here you know what a ultra massive C-ute fan I was and actually still am. Even though it's coming close to the ninth anniversary of their disbandment I still listen to their albums on a regular basis and they will always be my #1 J-Pop group. That above title is correct and surprised no one could have thought of something much catchier.

Few months back did some reposts for a trio of older photobooks as I had obtained better versions plus thought the original posts could have been better. This photobook was the group's final one and had never been posted before, it was released on May 1, 2017 which was six weeks before the group's final concert that took place at the Saitama Super Arena. I have close to twenty C-ute concerts on DVD, bet when you add up how many times I've viewed them the total is over 400!!!! You may think I'm odd and you wouldn't be wrong on that, have viewed their final June 12, 2017 concert about a dozen times but have never watched the last 15-20 minutes when they perform their final two songs and give their farewells. Think I would choke up too much and when I listen to their albums do get a bit bummed out at times knowing they'll never perform live again and will never release any new music.

There are so many C-ute videos on YT and of course I recommend viewing as many as possible for all are so utterly terrific! What sets C-ute and other Hello Project groups apart from AKB, NMB, Nogi, Keya, etc. is that they can sing their songs live plus having a group with only five members means all are always in the spotlight at concerts. Above you can see the five members and also the DVD for their final concert. This book has so many things and quite a few photos were new for the photobook though there were no gravure pictures but that's okay as C-ute had at least three prior books with a slew of them. The book begins off with a section featuring the members, first off will be Maimi who is the oldest member as she celebrated her 34th birthday on February 8th. She's still somewhat active as an actress but that's slowed down the last few years as she's now married with two small children.

Second up in the book is my favorite member Saki 😍 who had the first two photos of the post. She hit the age of 32 on February 5th and had been living in New Zealand for a while learning English, did a post back in February for Saki that has much of her current info and she's still single! So isn't the third member in the book which goes in order of oldest to youngest. Airi just turned 32 yesterday and has remained very busy as she still releases music, hosts a radio show and does some acting. The fourth oldest is Chisato and I always thought she was the group's best singer, in June she'll also be hitting the age of 32. She was the first in the group to marry and have a child so not much is heard from her these days. The same goes for the youngest member who is Mai and she too has a February 8th birthday, this year she turned thirty. She too is married and last year had her first child so because three are married with children makes it so difficult/impossible to reunite FT but wouldn't you think they could get together for a pair of reunion shows?

The above two pics are from the photobook, so aren't the 147 below so it was a rather large book. Which gives the history of C-ute from their 2005 formation to their last days though not the final concert as this was released six weeks prior to that. There's a lot of interesting sections such as the member's favorite songs, pics from their final single "To Tomorrow" and here's a trivia fact that may be hard to duplicate. C-ute had 31 major singles, all hit the top eight on the chart yet none ever hit #1 and bet no other J-Pop group has done that.

Also in the book are photos from their final regular tour which took place in the Autumn of 2016, there's also pics of all their singles and albums. Plus there's a timeline of photos from when they were so young to their final photos near the end which were taken over ten years later. For so long Hello Project had a loose rule where members had to graduate when they hit the age of 25 and Maimi was that age when they disbanded plus a few others weren't far away. But that rule ceased about five years ago so if it wasn't in effect back then would C-ute have continued on? Earlier mentioned that C-ute never had a number one single, five times they hit #2 on the charts. My favorite tune from them was off their 2011 album "Chou Wonderful" which was "Midnight Temptation" and that was never a single but it was one of their most popular songs at concerts and could that have made it to number one? We'll never know and after the book is a video from 2016 of the gals performing it live, of course I highly recommend viewing it!
