Manami just doesn't get the attention she deserves, done quite a few posts here so hope her fan base has grown by at least one(!), here's just some really good looking pics of Manami, to me she ranks right at the top as far as attractive woman go.
Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Miku Tanaka... Yui Kobayashi....Ruka Kitano.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Manami Higa: Assorted older mag scans
Not much left of Manami that hasn't been posted here but got a few mag scans that have escaped our attention from a few years ago.
Oricon Style from Sept. 15, 2008 for the first season of Code Blue.
Friday magazine, April 2009.
TV Life June 2009.
Frau September 2009.
And to end off Manami from the November 2010 issue of BLT.
Maki Horikita: 2011 magazine scans
No Maki mag scans from this year that haven't been posted so let's start working backwards and look at some from 2011.
From the February 3rd issue of Shukan Bunshun.
Movie Girls #4.
October 19th issue of Weekly Shonen, pic of Maki in that red dress is her best one ever!
And to top it off Mini from November 2011.
Hideko Takamine movie screenshots #2
Two more movie screenshots of Hideko here, first one is a real oldie from 1941 and is called
Hideko the Bus Conductress and was written and directed by Naruse. Though it was a bit light hearted also showed how badly the people were living at the time with much poverty as most of the funds were going to the war effort, read once that it was shocking the government actually allowed this film to be released, in this Hideko was only 17 plus it being so old and obscure the quality of the film was not so great.

And from many years later here's Hideko in another Naruse film called Lonely Lane which was released in 1962, this film reminded me so much of Arakure. After that year Hideko slowed down quite a bit as far as appearing in films and not sure why, she still popular at the time and when this film was released she was still only 38 and was still a beautiful woman.
