Yui Kobayashi: Is once again demanding that a Galaxy be named after her!!!!

 

 There are some things that are always expected in life with Death and Taxes being the top two! But a close third would be at least a monthly post for Yui 😍, not sure she's my number one woman in the Milky Way galaxy but she would be if she created her own! Hmmmm, this is not the first time Yui has demanded we name a galaxy after her but I've been a bit lax with coining a new name. Hmmmm again, for a takeoff of our own galaxy how about "Kobayashi Way" which seems decent enough, am kind of hoping I'll be her only resident for a while! Perhaps first off a candy bar in her name would get the ball rolling as far as renaming a galaxy goes, let me try a few original recipes out to see what taste would remind us of her.... now I think my imagination has gone too far overboard and that happens so often when I'm doing a post for Yui!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Whew, I can never get enough of gaping at that above photo 😍 and that will be my all time picture until my last breath! After such a long period of many fewer posts Yui did have a comeback in 2025 and this now makes it eleven consecutive months with a post, a few times she's had a pair of them. She holds the record of twenty months in a row with a post but think my Queen from last year may have a shot at eclipsing that record. So while Yui has been busier it's still not nearly at the level it was while with Keya but isn't that the case for almost every ex-Idol? In 2025 she did release her first mini album, continued modeling for andGirl and appeared at most of those huge fashion shows. But I still think Yui could do so much more and in the past I've noticed she tends to be much more cheerful the busier she is. A prime example would be the year 2022 when she topped the fave's list and ser a personal record for posts. That was the year Yui released her second and possibly final photobook, Yui being busy carried over to 2023 as she was in a stage play, was in a drama, modeled for the With magazine plus of course had many Keya group activities.

 But those activities began to dwindle rapidly after July 2023, four months later Yui announced her graduation and were the two things somehow connected? Then after her February 2024 grad concert we didn't hear from Yui until August and even then she didn't do much until March 2025. Since then Yui has been much busier and the bottom line could be I just can never get enough of her 😍 so of course want to see her do so much more and perhaps have a weekly post! Yui has often said that she's a very shy woman so maybe that's why she's been doing just a so-so amount of things since her graduation. I've noticed there were many other Keya first generation members who were also on the shy/withdrawn side, in a group setting it may not be too noticeable but maybe that's why more haven't had successful solo careers and at least four have retired from show biz.

 Sigh, speaking of retired Keya members and to be honest I'm still so sad about her sudden disappearance. This is Yui's first 2026 post and have a pair of goals for her this year. One is to have at least one post a month so that would bring her streak up to 22 months in a row with a post, think that's a goal which can be done. So if that happens Yui will also be in the top six again on the fave's list and that is a rarity. Have done eleven prior yearly lists, besides Yui only three others have made the top six four or more years so that's an impressive achievement. Plus for now would place Yui in the second position for my third 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list and will begin the countdown in August. On the last list done in the Summer of 2022 she was in the sixth spot but since then Yui has had the positions of first, third, sixth and third again on the yearly faves list so she's jumped way up. The current number one will be tough to topple but I secretly am hoping Yui 😍 could do so as I really do like her more than any other woman I've ever posted about.

 That pic is from her second photobook, wonder if Yui does imbibe on occasion? Did say how she was a bit on the shy side and she doesn't go out often so doubt if you would ever catch her at your local watering hole! Was a bit nostalgic and was going through some of her older posts where I discovered these screenshots from a March 1, 2020 'Keyakitte' episode, that was the name of the group's older variety show which is now called 'Soko'. You can check every post featuring her and never once have I used the nickname of Pon. That's because in that episode Yui did moan a bit about how she hated that nickname and wished everyone would just call her Yui, after that show we never did hear the members refer to her as Pon. However many 'fans' did and wonder if they can be called fans after what she had said and if you've noticed I never use nicknames for any of the women I post about.

 Have a mix of new and older things, not a huge amount of newish things as Yui has been kind of quiet the last two months. But think she held a party for her fan club and perhaps she's working on her second mini album? Her first was decent and the videos were also good but wish she'd show her rockin' side a bit more. First off are these photos from her IG page, all have come out the past month. While with Keya(Sakura) Yui was never much of a blogger at the group site but did post many terrific photos. She's kept both those traits since leaving and the below pics are so super duper, especially the first. Yui posted that on December 31st so it was her final pic of the year and isn't it simply amazing?! It sure is to me and as a matter of fact that's probably my #1 non-gravure photo of the year! She also uploaded some more pics from the filming sessions of the music videos from her "Yousti" album. That's her stage name and there's also a few pics from the photo shoot for Yui's first ever calendar, shame there was no event for it.

 What's also superb are Yui's modeling pics from the andGirl site, just wish there were more of them. These are from the past month and she usually has about 7-10 each month.... wonder if she's praying in that first pic for Nao to be on time for tonight's date.... please don't wake me from my fantasy!!!!

 As far as getting views for her posts go Yui is the most consistent woman here though it's not overly positive. The last time a Yui post received a thousand or more views was one done in May 2023 and that's hard to believe. Her dozen 2025 posts had an average of 550 views, almost every one got between 500 to 600. As time goes on views do increase but for some reason that hasn't happened often with her posts, bet if I check a year from now that 550 average will only increase to 620 views or so. Sure Yui has some fans here but has never increased the amount of them and I can't give a good reason for that.... lack of new gravure photos? Bring that up because when I post older pics it means most viewers have never seen them or if you're a fan you may have forgotten about them. In posts for ex-Idols usually post their group cards for a month but Keya only had them for the four seasons. But have a much better batch which are cards for the group's 'Keyakise' web game which was in operation from 2017 to mid 2020, that was not a good year for the group. Below have cards for New Year's and Winter, some had never been posted before. The bottom ones are for Autumn and added them in for I think those too have never been seen here before.

 Yui's comeback will be complete once we start seeing her appear again in magazines, in the period of 2018-21 no Keya member had more spreads. I'm not holding my breath thinking it'll happen, can say the same for her having a digital book and how I would love to see her have one(or more!) of them. It being the first month of the year have a pair of older January mag spreads, this first one is way too small and is from the first ar issue of 2023. As mentioned that was during Yui's busiest period ever, even if she doesn't appear in magazines would love to see her to more modeling work for other sites or clothing lines.

 Second Yui spread is much larger and is from the January 2020 issue of BLT. This spread came out 2 1/2 months after turning twenty in age, hard to believe that in nine months Yui will be celebrating her 27th birthday.

 We've hit the end and this was a bit of a 'spur of the moment' post as I was going to take the day off but when I want to do a post for a massive favorite of mine nothing will stop me! Have often ended a post with many sizzling photos of Yui in the hopes of garnering her a few new fans, don't think it's worked and when you gape at these pictures I wonder.... WHY NOT???? Yui has a YT channel for her music and three weeks ago uploaded a new video but it's from August 27th. That was the day her debut album was released, she held a mini concert but before that held a press conference which is featured in the video and is after the photos. It doesn't matter to me how Yui looks as she'll always be perfect in my eyes but the way she dresses as Yousti is so close to being unbeatable plus I really, really like the way Yui's new hairstyle is.
