Nene Shida: A (too)little bit of this and that....

 

 The last 3-4 weeks have been the best stretch I've had for posts in close to a year, that's both quantity and quality wise. However things have slowed down a bit the past week but wanted to keep the streak alive of having at least a post a day, often a goal for a month is to have one or more posts a day but it's been eons since that was accomplished. Few days back mentioned Nene's name in a different post and said how in 2027 she would probably be one of two gals to reach the rare milestone of a hundred posts. Hope I didn't speak too soon on that as this is post #82 so eighteen more are needed in 22 months, seeing as how Nene has averaged over a post a month since her first was done in December 2020 you'd think she should reach a hundred easily next year. But the posts have been slowing down over the last nine months, even went three months last year without a post for her and that had never happened with her before.

 It is easy figuring out who the most popular actresses and J-Pop Idols are, it's not so easy doing that with gravure models. You'd have to think Nene just may be the most popular current model, not a lot make a ton of money from doing gravure work but sure she makes a decent wage for her photo shoots and it has opened some doors for her. This July Nene will be hitting the age of 28 and am a tad surprised she's still doing a lot gravure modeling but has slowed down a bit the last year or so. Four years ago Nene did graduate from Keio University and wonder if she'll ever put that degree to use? There's been a few other gravure models I've posted about who have also graduated from college but kept on modeling, perhaps they and Nene think that you're only young once and why not take advantage of being popular?

 Nene is currently in a web drama titled "Marriage Battlefield 37" but I haven't been able to find it, even if I did sure it wouldn't be subtitled. The only major role she had up until now was in the 2022-23 "Kamen Rider Geets" series, that was a decent Sentai-ish series and have always wanted to see her do more acting. Nene has been in five stage plays and has been a reporter for a pair of variety shows plus was a host for a radio show so she does keep busy but she's a woman I can never get tired of! This has been a slowish period for Nene and perhaps it's because of the drama that's airing, this won't be nearly as large as most recent posts but have about forty new photos and a few older things that may have been forgotten about.

 First off are these newish photos from Nene's IG page, she's never been one to post often but the pictures are usually superb such as the ones below which are some of her best ones ever!

 Was looking at some of Nene's older IG photos and she never did post as many pics from her photo shoots as I thought. But least the pics do look so darn good and these are all from the year 2022.

 Nene has been doing some regular modeling for the Kangol site but no new pics from them for today. No other kinds of modeling pics nor has Nene been at any recent events so as mentioned this will not be as large as most posts to date for the year. Will have a trio of magazine spreads, two are new and haven't been posted yet but this one had which is from the January 1st issue of Big Comic Spirits and the pics are so fabulous they needed to be seen again!

 Nene's last post featured a new digital book published by the Friday magazine but at the time the spread to promote it hadn't been released. The magazine is out now and she weas the cover girl for their January 30th issue, over the last five years how many covers has she graced????

 Have one other spread from the Friday magazine and it's from their February 20th edition, it's kind of a part two to the above spread.

 That above spread was to promote another digital book from the magazine called 'Friday Gold', it featured outtake pics from Nene's much bigger digital book that came out on January 16th. There were two sets of outtake pics released on January 26th and February 5th but think some of the 31 photos had been in the first book. There wasn't a video for the two above spreads but there was one for Nene's BCS photo shoot which is after the book.
