Currently just watching two current dramas that are airing, neither are must watches but so far so good for both of them. Though this is a bit of a regular police drama there's something a tad different about it and that difference so far has worked but can't quite put my finger on what the difference is. Could be that the story revolves around a serial killer but sure there have been other series that have also had a serial killer though none come to mind right now.
Episode one had at least four murders, perhaps even more plus a few had happened before that episode. No murders this time by the serial killer who after the first show appears to be Kara, usually you don't see a show give something like that up so quickly so perhaps she isn't the killer. However there's no other major characters as if yet who potentially could be the killer so for now we'll go with the presumption Kara is the killer, what hasn't come out at all yet is why she'd done all the killings.
First post gave a brief description of all the major characters, here's who they are again:

Did leave out two characters from that first post, one of them is Dr. Tsukimoto. He's the head of a plastic surgery clinic, not much much has come out about him yet but he appears to be a shady character. Seems some of the murder victims have had surgery done at his clinic, so far the police or should I say Shinobu haven't been able to put what the connections are between him and the victims. Tsukimoto has also denied knowing Kara though he has been seen with her twice, he could turn out to have a role in the killings but there's so many details about everyone that haven't come out.
The second major character that wasn't introduced the first time around is named Watari. He's a middle aged designer who Kara has tricked into letting him live in his apartment. The reason for that is he lives across from Shinobu's apartment and Kara can view has and Yuki's activities from his place. Watari though is under the illusion that Kara will fall in love with him, so far it's been a platonic relationship and would think it'll stay that way.

As mentioned above though this drama deals with a serial killer there were no murders on this show, what mainly happened was Kara getting much closer to Yuki. There's something in Kara's past that involves Yuki, she has no idea about that and neither do we, just another detail that will eventually be explained. Yuki though is on the 'to kill' list of Kara's, she's had chances to do it if she really wanted to but appears to be waiting for the right time to kill Yuki.
Meanwhile Yuki has had a few successes at her job, looks like she could be in line to move up to the First Division department. What she's done though hasn't really been enough to warrant a promotion, she actually did make a major mistake at a hostage situation but was bailed out by Kara. Kara is one tough cookie who knows martial arts quite well, she allowed herself to be kidnapped by a maniac slasher and to be saved by Yuki. Yuki though bungled up saving Kara who managed to escape on her own but the department thought that Yuki did the actual capturing of the slasher.
Kind of a quiet episode for Shinobu, he has some serious doubts about Kara and suggests to Yuki that perhaps she shouldn't see her as often as the pair have started to become friends. He also has doubts about Dr. Tsukimoto, he's seen him with Kara twice though he denies even knowing her. Shinobu has a lot of 'potentials' about who did what, where and why but as if yet has been unable to connect all of his theories.

This is a bit of an easier drama to recap, there aren't a lot of characters and there's two or many more together in a scene. The above review may have been a bit short but for the most part that's what happened in this episode, covered all the major points but did leave out some minor ones which you can view in the next post which has plenty more screenshots.
So far this has been a solid watch, like watching a show with no Idols but with just a solid cast of actors like this one has. No murders this time around but would think they would resume soon as if it's ten episode series need more than one episode with killings plus it would probably keep it interesting. This drama airs on Tuesdays but the subs have got done quickly on them both weeks so should be back at this time next week for a recap on the third episode.

  1. what interest me is Kara, is she Yuki's friend or Yuki is on the "to kill list"

Shinobu still at the early stage of feel the crime thingy.
