Episode title: 'This Life is a Quest'

Let's get right to the action though that's not exactly the correct word as there's been zero in this series to date and probably won't be any. No carryover from the previous episode in terms of a cliffhanger as the show is mainly one continuous story. After a rough beginning seemed as though Miayko and Takumi hit it off fairly quickly, the way they talk with each other you'd think they had been friends for years.
The main 'theme' for this episode was pancakes and how much Miyako loves them, more so when she was a child of about ten. At that age her father had often brought her to a local amusement park and her fave was the slime pancake. That's something I had never heard of, checked on what it was and still have no clue. The name of the amusement park was unknown to Miyako so secretly Takumi began his quest to find out it out, with any luck it's still open so he can take her there.
With the help of his only friend and store manager, Onita, Takumi was able to discover that the park was still open and made plans to escort Miyako there. Takumi is still keeping those plans a secret though and with the help of Onita went shopping to find the right set of clothes to wear on a date. At the age of 25 Takumi had never been on an official date and was definitely clueless on what to wear or do. During that shopping spree he ran into Miyako's best friend Ayano, that's her in the above screenshot. We all met her for the first time in the previous episode where she got a bit tipsy at Takumi's house. For some reason Ayano has the hots for him which you'll see only gets worse.

It's the day of the big date, perhaps not big to a normal guy but Takumi is far from being one as this is his first time out with a female. It was a day of firsts for Takumi as he had also never been to an amusement park, seems as though he enjoyed himself more than a child would. But of course what made the day special to Miyako was having pancakes as it brought back such pleasant memories of growing up, we never did learn how or when her parents died.
In the middle screenshot above was what she ordered though Takumi had set it up in advance to have a pancake in the shape of a Dragon Quest character. And to top off the fabulous day it was back home to play the game that reunited them, after a few shows where the game wasn't as central to the theme this episode DQ did play more of an important role. And for here on out too as it's just not a game to our soon to be lovebirds but also where they can go to get advice. That's what Takumi did before this big 'date' but an unexpected twist is about to happen to him the following day.

That twist is above and it came in the alluring form of Miyako's best friend Ayano. She had only met Takumi once at his house, on that occasion she had become a bit tipsy from too many beers. But for some reason Ayano had become quite smitten with Takumi and remembered he worked at the Animate book and game store.
Ayano had broken up with her boyfriend the previous week, don't know if she was lonely but she had her eyes set on Takumi becoming her new pet. As you can see from her comment above Ayano dragged him out to dinner, the whole time Takumi was protesting but still went along with her. Ayano is one bubbly person and as you know Miwako certainly has an A+ figure. Not an exciting dinner as Takumi wouldn't do much talking, to himself he's such a boring person and he may be right.
Bur as mentioned there's something about him that's so magnetic to Ayano who had more than dinner on her mind. That was spending more time with Takumi and what Ayano had in mind was.... a Love Hotel!!!! That truly blew Takumi's mind away, never mind him going on his first 'date' but he had also never slept with a woman, will Ayano be the female to rob him of his virginity? We'll find that out in the next show as this one did end on a slight cliffhanger. Meanwhile during their date Miyako had been sitting at home waiting for Takumi as she was totally clueless on what may be be happening between him and her best friend.

Can't say this has been one of the better dramas I've ever viewed but it's been passable plus Tsubasa looks oh so heavenly. There's going to be a change of plans as far as the order of recaps go. Said in the first post there would be all six in a row but decided against that. Even though the recaps are somewhat short figured all would get bored of reading so many at once plus I don't have the time right now to write all of them up. So will have these first three episodes all in a row which hopefully will build up a bit of suspense. The plan is to have the other three this weekend which I should be able to do, also planning on having four recaps of the "Zambi" drama within the week too.
