Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: The mammoth and majestic 'A little bit of this and that post' for 2019 #3....

Bit pressed for time so hope I can squeeze in everything for today as there are so many new happenings but that's kind of the norm for Nogi. Noticed it helps too having a few jaw-dropping pics at the top to draw in fans but Nogi posts already get so many more views than anyone else so guess they're really not needed but hard to beat intro pics like those!
That title is quite accurate as this just may be a mammoth post with so many new things. Nothing though for Nanase who will be having her farewell concert in Osaka on February 24th, she's overdue for a solo post but there hasn't been all that many new things for her lately which is very rare. Here I am rambling after I said was a bit pressed for time so let's get on to this huge post....

Know it's gotten overshadowed by Erika's PB but Hinako's first photobook has been a solid seller, to date it's sold close to 52,000 copies which is a good number so let's hope it's not her only book. Five days ago Nogi took a trip to Taipei for a concert as they've been going overseas much more lately. Just have a few pics from the concert as too many members of who I consider the 'A Team' didn't take the trip though all of the second and third generation members were at the show.

Miona was at the concert but besides that hasn't been as busy as she usually is the past few weeks. She will be appearing in a film coming out in June but will wait until it gets closer to the date before discussing it, a trailer hasn't even come out yet. Try to have a few pics of her in every post and for today have some recent Nogi cards along with a few blog pics.

As you can see she's a A-Pink fan and was at a recent Tokyo concert. Not sure when the next Mai solo post will be so have a few newish Nogi cards for her.

"Zanbi" is the group's current drama and they haven't had a regular series for too many years. It began on January 23rd, the first episode was subbed and it was a decent show. Will recap the drama though unsure if I'll start on it soon or wait until it's finished.

Asuka has the lead role in the drama and as you can see it has a horror theme. She also has today's first spread which is from the January issue of 20+ Sweet.

A third generation member who I kind of like though we don't see too often here is Ayano-Christie Yoshida, she's the oldest of the new members as she turned 23 last September. She has the second set which is from the February edition of UTB.

Minami is a member who has been moving up rapidly on my fave Nogi member's list. She has another cover though it was the back one for the same UTB issue.

Keep wanting to do a few more 'pairs posts' but never remember them until I start doing a Nogi post. Have a few potential duos lined up but until today had never thought of this pair and to me these two deserve that next post.

The member that truly deserves a solo post is my #1 who of course is MIsa. Always include her activities in these group posts but she never seems to have enough new things for a solo post. If anyone merits a second PB it's Misa, her first one was a huge seller as it sold close to 90,000 copies, that was released back in May 2017.

Sigh, time for another cold shower.... Misa still hosts a Saturday night radio show which is called 'Juggler', some pics from the January 19th show.

Good news for Misa fans as she'll be appearing in a musical play titled "Warau Otoko", it's also referred to as 'The Eternal Love'. Have had many fantasies about her but never as a blonde, hmmmmm.... The play won't be opening until April 9th which will be in Tokyo, then it hits four other cities. On January 29th there was a press conference for the 'new blonde', plenty of pics from it followed by a video in which she sings and she does have a decent voice.
