Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Rena Takeda: Few but too few recent happenings....

This has been Rena's slowest year to date by far. This is her eighth post but three were for a massive WPB-Net pictorial which came out in 2018. Perhaps she spoiled us for so long as Rena was one busy gal the past two years, she's still quite busy but just not as much as we're used to. She's on the brink of making this year's top twenty list but just hasn't cracked it yet though if we see much more of her in the next two months she could make my list for the first time.

Rena is one of the most popular gals here and she finished third overall for her posts getting the highest average views. However this year that average has dropped as none of her posts have hit a thousand views which is odd as this blog has received more views than ever from you readers. Let's get to today's pics which actually are many but not as much as we're accustomed to, especially for mag spreads. Rena is now an exclusive model for Non-no once again though haven't seen any big spreads in their issues yet, these pics are from their site.

On September 7th Rena was at the 2019 Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that took place at the Saitama Super Arena. She hails from Iwaki which is a bit north of Tokyo.

After the show she had an interview with the Walker Plus site.

This is a Rena spread that was missed earlier this year from the February issue of BLT.

No films this year for Rena but she does have the lead female role in the movie "Dancing Mita" which comes out next Spring. Lack of new mag spreads but there is one which is a superb set of pics and she graces the cover of the August 14th issue of Weekly Shonen. No video of the photo shoot but do have a superb one from Friday magazine that's from 2018 but was just uploaded to YT.
