Kisumi Amau: Another in the endless stream of faves who is making a resurrection....

 

 Sure a few readers noticed the absence of Kisumi who isn't a superstar here but her popularity has really risen the past two years. I first noticed her in late 2020 but there wasn't much to post about her, that all changed in mid-2021 and she's had quite a few posts since then. But those first two years those posts were surprisingly not receiving many views but that all changed in the Summer of 2023 and Kisumi did become one of the more popular gravure models here. But she does more than that as she's been a member of four J-Pop Idol groups, her latest was #2i2 who disbanded over two weeks ago after being together for close to five years, no clue whether she'll continue her J-Poppin' ways....

 Those two pics right above are a bit older, think from 2020 and though Kisumi is of course hard to believe figure wise there's something about her older photos which I enjoy more. For the years 2022-25 Kisumi did hit the six posts needed to qualify for the fave's list yet has never officially made the top ten, twelve or sixteen! She's the only woman something like that has ever happened to and I really thought 2025 would be the year for her to crack the top ten but sadly that didn't pan out. For this is Kisumi's first post in four months after having a dozen by August, she went on a hiatus right around her 29th birthday that was on August 16th and didn't return for over three months. She's done a few things since then but not all that much, do have a new digital book for today but am wondering did the photo shoot take place before her hiatus.

 For today I don't have much news but hope to in about 2-3 weeks as that's when her next post will be done or am hoping so. For on January 7th Kisumi is releasing her fourth regular photobook and that came as a surprise to me, the six pics pics after the first one below are promoting it and the rest are recent ones from her IG page. This is a slow time of the year for magazine spreads as so many double up on their issues so I haven't seen any spreads that feature outtake pics from the book. But would think there will be some coming up soon and also there will be an event for the photobook which is why there should be a post a bit after it's January 7th release. That first pic has been posted before but need to have it again as it features Kisumi with this year's #1 Queen and think it's their only photo together....

 Sure Kisumi's upper assets have helped her career out but wonder by how much? She seems like an funny. and intelligent woman to me by reading her interviews and viewing her videos but sure most are just fixated on one part of her body so in the end run Kisumi may not get a lot of chances to prove she's more a one dimensional woman. Her spreads and books are all been so terrific the past four years but one main reason for Kisumi not making the fave's list is the lack of other activities besides gravure modeling. The bottom four above are the the December 6th show for #2i2 which was their final one, not all of the other pics above are gravure ones and she looks kind of kawaii to me. One is a new pic for Christmas and have a few others for today, a few had never been posted before.

 Unless I've somehow missed them haven't noticed any magazine spreads since she returned from that three month hiatus. It was supposed to be only for a month but Kisumi's health was still subpar so she didn't make her FT return until November. There being no new mag spreads have one that I'm fairly positive hadn't been posted and is from a special Bomb Premium edition that came out on July 28th. Kisumi will be hitting the age of thirty in less than eight months and that came up so unexpectedly, she still looks oki-doki to me so sure she has no plans on ceasing her gravure career quite yet....

 Paid a bit more attention to that bottom photo above and I think it could be the best new one for today, it may be hard to notice Kisumi's sparkling smile and kawaii face which is understandable. Will end off here with a new digital book the Dolce magazine released in November 30th, a trend that's been happening much more this year is that there's no mag spread to promote the book. This pictorial contains 67 photos, all are course sweltering but think I've seen too many books as the pics are blending in with each other. No new gravure videos but there may be soon for her photobook and after this digital book is a rare video. Which is of Kisumi singing and she did a solo tune from "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" anime titled "God Knows", it's an upbeat song and it is subbed in English. The anime aired back in 2006 and there's a show called 'CrosSing' where various Idols and models come on to cover an older song that they've always wanted to sing and will she begin a solo music career?
