Nao Kanzaki: The eight most popular woman with you viewers for 2025.... and the least two popular!!!!

A very simple post yet one that you viewers have enjoyed over the years, been doing these kinds of posts since 2018. Usually the list consisted of a top ten or dozen but because this year had the fewest amount of women who qualified for the yearly fave's list, seventeen, will just have the list contain eight. But will also have who the two least popular women were with you viewers and it's kind of sad as the pair are currently my top two of all time!!!! In a way it should be a trio battling out for the honor but it appears Risa πŸ˜ has quietly retired from show biz and it's been almost a year since we've heard from her. Know I've said it before and will in the future also but if she truly has retired then that would be my most saddest event since beginning this blog as when the list was done in 2022 for who my all time favorite woman was Risa topped the list and wasn't really challenged. Besides the fact of me never getting tired of looking at Risa posts she also had the honor of being the most popular woman here in 2019. For that year her posts averaged over 1,100 views and that could be up to 1,300 by now as older posts still get a healthy amount of views. That year was such an oddity as the next year she dropped to the seventeenth position but did rise back to seventh in 2021, however besides those two years Risa has only been somewhat popular with you readers.

If there's one thing I've noticed about the list is how much it changes from year to year and in a way this could be the yearly top eight/ten/dozen list of women for you readers. Our top two or three for a year is usually different but we agree on many others who are our favorites. One of my biggest positives is how my top things from music to dramas to women don't change all that much. If you look back over the years you'll notice the positions on the fave's list are often different but for the most part the women don't change often. That also means I'm a bit stubborn and of my top ten this year eight had been in the top ten before, the two newbies were a pair of semi-faves of mine who for the first time qualified for the yearly fave's list. Right below is Konoka who last year was the #1 woman with you viewers and that was your best selection ever! A woman who has made the list three times is Mizuki, her acting career since leaving Nogi has been somewhat successful but she doesn't do enough things that I can post about. She was #1 for a year and was in the top five two other years.

PS: Konoka's good mate Suzuka πŸ˜ had four posts for the year, one more and she would have qualified for this and the fave's list. Bring that up for the four posts had an average of 974 views and Susuka would have been the second most popular woman of the year! I've had such a crush on her for over four years and for so long her posts were the least popular but I didn't care and kept doing them as I adore Suzuka 😍 to no end and finally you viewers saw in her what I've seen for a long time!!!! Suzuka's first photobook is simply amazing and that will be the first post for 2026.... get that cold shower warmed up!!!!

Began writing this up on Christmas Eve but fairly sure I won't finish it as I'm also doing another post. So hope to complete both by tomorrow morning and set the date for them to be published that night as I may be busy on Friday but least you'll have a pair of posts to read. This list is a very simple one to figure, like the fave's list a woman just needed five posts for 2025 to qualify and seventeen did. But this was the first year ever less than twenty women qualified so decided to just include eight on the list but added in the least two popular women of you readers and it's not a case of me needing to gush about them even more!!!! What I do is count up how many views each post for a woman received and divide that by how many posts they had. For instance if a woman had seven posts and the views added up to be 5,600 then their average would be 800 views a post and that's easy enough to do. But at times it can be a bit time consuming as many women had over ten posts and I figured out the averages for all that qualified for the fave's list. So will go from last place to first, will have their averages, a link to one of their 2025 posts, a handful of photos and some of my inane ramblings. As I've said a few times would like to hear more from you viewers and what you top ten or dozen were for this past year.

#17.... Akari Suda, her 24 posts had an average of 481 views

There's no bigger fave of mine than Akari πŸ˜ who the last four years on the fave's list has been in the seventh, first, second and first positions. That's a pace which will never be topped and also way back in 2018 she finished second on the list. But can't figure out why Akari has never been more popular with you readers as this is the third(fourth?) consecutive year she's been in last place! On the bright side Akari has gone from averaging 325 views per post in 2023 to 380 last year and for 2025 zoomed all the way up to 481. That's an increase of almost 50% in two years so my doing so many posts for her seems to be paying off but how popular or unpopular a woman is here never has any affect on how many posts I do for them. For now Akari would be the odds on favorite to be in the number one position when my third 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list begins eight months from now.

#16.... Yui Kobayashi, she had an average of 550 views for her dozen posts

Over the years the most consistent woman as far as getting views go has been Yui but it's not too much of a positive. For it seems every year since 2020 except for 2022 her posts have an average of somewhere between 550 to 600 posts. She hasn't had a post get a thousand views since the Spring of 2023 and since then Yui has had over 25 posts, perhaps close to thirty. When I look back on how many views her posts have gotten that consistency is hard not to notice but wish the amount of views were 800+ instead of ~550. But guess if Yui hasn't had a bump in views by now it'll probably never happen and how I would hate to see her tumble down to last! That link above is to her June 12th post, Yui was the first woman in three years to reach a hundred posts. That's become so rare these days but the woman above should hit that milestone in about four months.

#8.... Kisumi Amau whose eleven posts had an average of 762 views

Now on to the top eight most popular women for 2025, had to include the above two as those are my two most favorite women of all time.... sigh, but not in the top billion for you viewers! The positions this year were very close, nine and ten weren't too far behind this post. As a matter of fact just 73 views separated this eighth position and fourth, then there was a larger gap for the top three. I first introduced Kisumi in the Summer of 2021 but for so long she was not too well liked by you readers but as you can see that's changed. Earlier this week did her first post in four months as she was on a hiatus for health issues but should be having a post or two in January for her upcoming fourth photobook.

#7.... Miku Kanemura had five posts in 2025 that had an average of 780 views

The link to the above is from a February post and she's only had three since then. Up until 2025 you needed six posts to qualify for the yearly faves list, this year made it five which meant five more women were eligible. The ninth spot on the list was for someone with five posts but that was it as lowering the standard didn't affect the list save for that one position. Miku only had five posts for 2025 and she's never had a huge amount in a year but would often come close to ten. In 2023 she finished in the second spot on the fave's list, last year was fourth and some years ago had predicted Miku may end up being my #1 J-Pop Idol of all time! That's not going to happen now as Hina's management has made some horrible decisions and wouldn't be shocked if she left the group in 2026. In a way I hope so as the group is holding Miku back and I like her immensely so she's someone I would follow even after she left Hina. You viewers still like Miku and the fewer posts you get can help out your average as one very popular post can skew the figures.

#6.... Miyuki Watanabe had an average of 781 views for her five posts.

That above post is from March, like the gal in the seventh position she's been so ultra quiet since then. It is kind of shocking that Miyuki made this list but one very popular post can throw an average out of quack and that was the case here. This was the closest battle of all as only one view separated the sixth and seventh positions. I've been kind of bummed out recently with the lack of activities for Miyuki who since 2021 had been getting busier by the year. But haven't done a post since September and that was for Miyuki's 32nd birthday as there's been close to zero things going on with her. Miyuki is one of my all time humungous faves and has been for almost a decade but am wondering if she'll become like the Watanabe in the beginning and quietly disappear.... sigh(sob), how I hope not....

#5.... Nashiko Momotsuki, her fourteen posts for 2025 had an average of 790 views

Have the link to the above July 24th post as it was her least popular post for 2025! Did say how the positions have been close, just a 28 view difference from eighth to fifth. Not much more I can add in about Nashiko who finished fourth on this year's faves list and had a nice resurgence with you viewers as her posts had seen a dip in popularity the previous two years but this is her fourth time making the top ten. Of the top ten most popular women here for 2025 only one is a current J-Pop Idol, four are gravure models and five are ex-Idols but a few of them are doing a lot of gravure modeling.

#4.... Yuki Kashiwagi had an average of 832 views for her eight posts

This is a nice surprise and what even nicer was doing eight posts for Yuki after doing zero for over four years, why that happened is explained in those posts. Yuki is such a massive fave of mine and as far as Idols go is in my top ten of all time. The reason she didn't make the 2025 fave's list is that many of those posts featured books and magazine spreads from 2021-24 such as that Young Jump series and she wasn't all that busy this year after the Spring time. Those eight posts did help Yuki out quite a bit as they now make it a sure thing that she'll make my third 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list when the countdown begins in eight months. Will confess that Yuki has been slipping my mind recently and that's also been the case for a few other of my faves so vow to work harder on posts for her and others next year.... then again they need to help out also!

#3.... Kana Nakada, she had eleven posts for 2025 that had an average of 859 views

I was wrong on something and not even close with the prediction as I had thought Kana would be number one on this list. She may have ended up in second place but she had a pair of posts in November and the problem with doing those so late in the 'Nao Year' means they don't get a lot of time to accumulate a high amount of views. But still at the beginning of the year none of us could have seen Kana being the third most popular woman with you viewers and ending up second on my fave's list! Every post for Kana was overly terrific but she's been so quiet the last two months and wonder if it's because she's become more busy with Mahjong as that's more of a Winter sport. So I'm praying this year was not a blip with Kana and she'll continue on in 2026 being a gravure model as to me no woman topped her searing photos this year!!!!

#2.... Miku Tanaka had an average of 877 views for her fifteen posts

What's a bit odd about this list is that most women had well over ten posts. Usually when someone has more than ten the posts tend to start receiving less views and it's the women with 8-10 posts that do well on this list but not so for this year or at least not as many as usual. This was a bit of a surprise to me as though Miku is popular with you readers that seemed to peak two years ago and her 2024 posts saw a drop in views. That was even with Miku being my #1 Queen of the year and she had a shot at giving this year's number one a battle but had such a quiet second half of 2025. Miku has just released a pair of Young Gangan digital books so will have one of them in a few days, the other you'll be seeing next month. Though just 24 in age Miku has made the top ten on the fave's list four consecutive years and when all is said and done with this blog will she set a new record for appearing on the fave's list the most times?

#1.... Nene Shida had seventeen posts for 2025 that had an average of 1,085 views!

That post was above was done on May 9th, it was to be Nene's final post until September 9th and she had never had such a gap in posts before. That cost her a chance to be this year's #1 Queen, a gravure model has never topped a fave's list but she had an excellent chance of doing so this year. As much as I adore Nene think this is the first time she's ever been number one on a list but she is my top gravure model of all time. When I do that next All Time Faves list she will be in the top five and perhaps as high as third, this was her fifth consecutive year making the fave's list. For Nene to be you viewers #1 woman of the year is quite surprising but a pleasant one, her popularity here had dipped quite a bit in 2022/23. But she ran away with being the most popular woman for 2025 as second place was over 200 views/post behind. Hopefully Nene can get back to her busy ways with too many more books and mag spreads to count so she can hold in to that crown for 2026!
