Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Manami Higa: GTO drama news and Shipment of Death/Shino Hassou TV movie screenshots #1

Manami has really had a long, long break and looks like we'll thankfully be seeing much more of her, that's always a terrific thing. Not much news on it yet but sure there will be soon but Manami will be co-starring in the GTO 2 drama, second season of the remake. Didn't see the remake as I wasn't a huge fan of the original but looks like that'll be on my to watch list, doesn't have an actual start date yet but think it'll be in the second week of July.

And here's some recent blog pics of Manami with her new shorter hair, she said she cut off 30 cm which is a bit over 11 inches, that's quite a bit, going to take some getting used to. Last pic was from a photo shoot a few days before Manami cut her hair.

Manami also co-starred in a Fuji TV movie which aired on May 30th called Shipment of Death aka Shino Hassou, some screenshots from it here and there's plenty more in the next post.
