Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Mirei Kiritani: June 2015 news

Think this is the first Mirei post in close to two months, her being quiet is something which doesn't happen often. Actually I've always thought she's the hardest working actress in Japan, Mirei is always in a drama, has new mag spreads, is at some promo event or whatever, rarely did a week go by without some news of her. She probably needed a break though as she's been fairly non-stop for the past five or so years but have a feeling we'll be hearing much more of her once again but don't think she has a drama lined up for the Summer season, as a matter of fact she hasn't been in a drama this year after being in 4(!) of them last year.
Just two new Mirei items but there are over 25 pics plus a few videos. First off is such a dazzling set of pics from the July issue of "Bea's Up", if you visit their site they also have an interview with her though not translated, just type 'Bea's up Japan' in your browser to get to the site.

Mirei's next film which she also has the lead role in is coming out on September 19th and is called "Hiroin Shikkaku" which translates over to Heroine Disqualified. On June 21st there was a press conference to announce that the filming is now completed though they didn't do a screening of it. Mirei at the event just looked beyond adorable, bet you've heard me say that a few too many times! Have some tremendous pics form the event along with a video from it, there's no full length trailer for the film yet but included a teaser trailer for it below.
