Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Keum Sae-Rok: The start of hopefully many posts....

Did an intro post for a Korean actress about five days ago and will be having another one soon for her. But that was the first intro post in over two months for an actress but think there will be a few more new gals coming up soon. One reason for the lack of new actresses was because the dramas I had been viewing all starred ones that I knew of which is why they were watched. So decided to pick a show or more accurately a few of them that starred actresses I knew nothing about and think I may have lucked into one.
That's "Class of Lies" which just finished it's run last week and knew zero of the cast though one actress does look familiar. But it's Sae-Rok who caught my eye and planned on doing this post even before I began viewing the series. I kind of prefer the down to earth type of women that Korean actresses are and that's the kind of woman Sae-Rok appears to be. That's also an odd name she has it's the first time I've seen anyone with either of those names. It's also a somewhat belated birthday post as she turned 27 two days ago.

Those two pics definitely caught my eye and will have that event in her next post. Sae-Rok is a bit unlike other Korean actresses as she's appeared in many more movies than dramas. But like most actresses she attended college and graduated from Seoul University of the Arts which is why she didn't begin her acting career until 2015.

Not a huge intro post but when I break the ice for a new person it makes the second one much easier to do. As is the case with most actresses there aren't a lot of Sae-Rok mag spreads so will only have one max per post, this set is from the July 7, 2018 edition of Woman Sense.

Began the "Class of Lies" drama last night and hopefully can have a pair of recaps for Tuesday. Watched the first episode which was quite interesting, the shows are a bit longer as some are over seventy minutes long. It's a law series and haven't viewed one of them for many years, won't go into any spoilers as all the details will be in the recaps. But in the show Sae-Rok plays a teacher named
So-Hyun though her screen time in the first show wasn't too large. That's because a lawyer is about to become a teacher and we needed to learn about why he's going to go undercover at the school she works at but Sae-Rok's has the second biggest role in the drama.

There's another woman who I may be doing a few posts for soon who is Choi Yu-Hwa who plays a prosecutor in the series. Thought she was someone I've seen in a drama but can't figure out which one it was but Yu-Hwa is a beauty, looks much better on screen versus pictures.

The drama aired on OCN which is known for their more suspenseful shows, this one has sixteen episodes. It began on July 17th and the day before Sae-Rok along with most of the main cast was at a press conference for the series at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul. The show ended on September 5th and aired on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Will end off with these event pics which are so much better than the above ones but also took place at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul. The event took place on March 14, 2018 and was for her drama "Marry Me Now" which was her first series after appearing in seven films. The drama was a weekend show which are immensely popular but at fifty(!) episodes probably won't view it. Sae-Rok certainly has some fine legs, why was she wearing pants at the above event?
