Yui Kobayashi: Another post in the 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒍𝒆 series....

 

 Hopefully can have a second post for today though not too confident on that as I have the seeds for zero posts in the making. Trying to space out that huge cache of digital books I have/had as they did dwindle fast but often posts these days are the size of two so guess in a way it evens out. In real life I'm not a bad luck charm 👺 but am I here with those woman who I crown to be my Queen? There's only been three ever who I have anointed to be my #1 woman so obviously my massive faves rarely change. However it seems after a few months of being my number one the trio's activities have really decreased which of course means so haven't their posts, it's probably just a coincidence though I'm not a huge believer in them....

 About six months ago I did say Yui 😍 is my current #1 woman but it had been that way for over a year and don't know why I didn't want to admit it. But like her two predecessors there's been a huge decrease in Yui's activities, she did take a six month hiatus after graduating from Keya in February 2024 but hadn't done much in the previous four months. All in all that means she hasn't done all that much in the last seventeen months and I am a bit surprised at that for it always seemed to me Yui was her happiest when she was extremely busy and had been from about June 2022 to September 2023, after that what a slowdown on things and have a feeling it's by choice.

 Can't say for sure but it almost seems Yui has lost a lot of enthusiasm for show biz and she was also that way back in September 2021 when she took a three month hiatus from Keya. But a few months after her return Yui was busier than ever and because of that also seemed to me to be happier than ever. But after returning from this second break she's done so little save for appearing at two fashion shows and doing a bit of modeling work. That's been it for six months and I'm so curious about what is going on for as mentioned Yui is my #1 woman and have always said she's the most likable woman who I have ever done posts for so of course I do want to see things work out for her but honestly have no clue what she's going through. Perhaps after being a J-Pop Idol for about a third of your life it makes you stand back a bit and look at where you've ended up, maybe that didn't please her. For Yui is so talented and why hasn't she continued her musical career, she would be excellent in musical stage plays and one other posing question is why hasn't she pursued acting as she is a decent actress?

 I may sound a bit sappish but I really do root for women such as Yui 😍 and I've liked everything about her from head to toe for so many years. She's had the second most posts of anyone since 2020 and was also my number one Queen for 2022, she's made the top six two other times on the yearly faves list. So I really think what I discussed in the previous section is what she's going through and who hasn't been there? Know I have with this blog and at times have stepped back a bit from doing posts to regain my enthusiasm and every time it has worked so truly hope it does for her also, enough blabbering and let's get to some new things but sadly there's been so little....

 Had planned on doing this post over the weekend for Yui was at a fashion show, hate to admit it but was disappointed at how she was dressed but sure she didn't have much say in the matter. On March 1st the Spring 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show was held at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the shows which are held at different cities around Japan 5-7 times a year. So while it was so nice to see Yui there how she was clad was definitely a bit of a letdown, it looked like something a woman who have worn two hundred years ago. She took her stroll for Microwave(?) and that attire certainly needed some heating up....

 Have some older TGC photos which are from January 2020 and this is how I was hoping Yui would look which was ultra tremendous! As you can see she took two strolls with the second promoting a Keya AEON credit card.

 Just have one other batch of newish phots but they are truly fabulous and are from the andGirl site. Yui has been a model for them since March 2023 but had taken a break while she was on her hiatus last year, since her return this has really been it as far as activities go. For many ex-Idols it's usually a case of not having job offers which is why we seldom see them but in Yui's case think she prefers remaining a bit quiet for now and wouldn't doubt if she's refused some things but why?

 When posts for ex-Idols are done often have some older group cards for the month. However Keya never had monthly cards and instead were for the four seasons so have some for Spring today, the ones that look to be for Christmas are actually for Spring. In some good news Yui just released her first ever calendar which will go from April until March 2026. In three weeks she will be having an event to promote it so will have her next post in the first week of April with pics from the event and am praying there will be some other newish things.

 Have moaned too much about Yui being so quiet for such a long period of time but she's not as bad as her old Nogi mate! Who I've been trying to do a post for but with nothing new it's almost impossible, seven years ago who would have thought these two gals would have been my top two of all time?! 

 Now now, wish the pair would stop fighting as there's plenty of Nao to share!!!! It's been exactly one year since Yui's last magazine spread so of course that means if there's any they will have to be older ones. Which is the case for today and will have two ancient ones with the first being eight years old and is from the March 2017 issue of EX-Taishu. At one time Yui was semi popular here but besides the post for her second photobook she hasn't had a post that has received over  thousand views since October 2022 and where did all of her fans go?

 In that last somewhat popular post was this set from the October 21, 2022 issue of Friday that was promoting her second photobook, she had three huge posts that month which was the height of her busyness. Doubt if Yui would ever do it but there may be no other woman save for an ex-Nogi member who I would love to see have a digital book or do some gravure modeling though I would adore her just as much if it never happened.

 Yui now has a fan club and opened that in December. So she only posts photos there and nowhere else which is a shame as she used to have some terrific ones at Keya's 'Diary' blog.

 Will end off with some overly perfect pics of Yui's perfection(?!) 😍, they've been seen here before but had mentioned how unpopular her posts have become so maybe many have never seen such sweltering pics. After this batch is a video that has been posted before but one I enjoy immensely. Back in 2020 Yui appeared in four episodes of the "Joshi Kousei no Mudazukai" drama playing a foreign exchange student named Lily, to me she was so funny in that role and in other shows has played a much more serious character so why isn't she doing any acting???? The video isn't subbed but is easy enough to follow, that hair color is one I liked quite a bit and she did keep it that way for a while even after the show ended.
