I've lost count on how many times that first photo has led off a post, it's been my favorite pic for almost six years now! It's one I will never get tired of gaping at and wonder if that should be put on my gravestone?!?! When you look at the labels on the right hand side a hundred posts may not seem like a huge milestone but it is, this now makes it 23 women who have reached triple digits. But this is only the third since 2020 to reach a hundred, one was an actress and the other a close mate of Yui's from Keya! One other huge fave woman of mine is over ninety but the posts have sadly decreased so much for her but before I hang up my blogging shoes she will hit a hundred. Then after after that think there may be a trio who will hit the milestone beginning in late 2026 but after the four mentioned doubt if anyone will reach this semi milestone. It's not as easy as it once was, when you think about even if a woman has a post a month it would take almost 8 1/2 years to hit a hundred, a few women I like immensely have come close to that pace but it's extremely rare.

Yui isn't celebrating her achievement above and birthday #26 comes up in four months, she's still a youngster but soon most if not all the women I post about will be thirty in age or older. What makes her milestone so impressive and also for anyone that hits the 100 post mark after this is that the posts are almost all solo ones. Up until 2021 used to do so many group posts, especially for Nogi which is why you see so many members with over a hundred posts. In group ones may have posted 15-20 pics of a member so would have their name as a label and that's the right way to label a post. It also means the post counts can rise rapidly for members in a J-Pop group but if you've noticed have seldom had those for the last two years. So you may see a Nogi member with 140 posts but only 25 may be solo posts so you can understand why the counts may be a bit deceiving. However a quartet of second generation members all have over fifty solo posts so their counts aren't too inflated along with a trio of third generation members. There's also a trio of 1G members who have many solo posts but there's about five who don't and kind of rambled on too long as I'm sure you knew what I meant halfway through this paragraph....

Out of
Yui's hundred posts
72 have been solo ones in this vein, of course the percentage is also 72!!!! That may be a record for any Idol with 100+ posts plus the percent will increase with each post which I hope continues until this blog hits its demise! Would also be very shocked if more than one ex-Idol in the future hits a hundred, that would be for an ex-SKE member but it is slightly possible a former Nogi 2G gal may hit triple digits. This is also the sixth anniversary of
Yui's first ever solo post, two days late to be exact as that first solo post happened on June 10, 2019. That was 72 months ago and this makes it 72 posts in that long stretch so that means one post a month has been her average for six years which to me is so impressive. The posts did drop off a bit after her February 2024 graduation from Keya but still had eight of them for
Yui last year, for 2025 this is her fifth and am confident she will have another five for this year.
Over the years
Yui has been so-so popular with you viewers. If I was to do ten posts hers would be about sixth as far as how many views it received. So am kind of surprised that making a re-entry into that section for most popular posts for the past month was the one done back in the Spring of 2023 for her second photobook, that came out in October 2022. Perhaps someone put the link in a forum and whatever place that is it appears she has more fans there than here. That second PB was so terrific but will confess I enjoyed her first more and will we ever see another book from
Yui? I highly doubt that and she would be number one on my list for those who I would want to see have another book but least she left us with so many memorable pics from those two books. The top two pics of the post are from that first book, the above two and ones below are from book #2.
Towards the end of 2023
Yui π did move into the top spot as far as being my #1 woman of all time went and did hold that position up until late last Summer. However that long hiatus after her Keya graduation enabled an ex-SKE member to take over the top spot and she's in line to be my #1 woman of the year for 2025. But that doesn't mean
Yui can't regain her title as I enjoy doing posts for her over anyone else and have been saying that for at least four years. Even after
Yui returned from her extended vacation she still wasn't all that busy but that's slowly been changing as this makes it three consecutive months with a post and think her activities will be increasing even more, will tell you why shortly. So with one more post
Yui will hit six for 2025 which means she'll be eligible for the yearly faves list, it would make it six straight years making the esteemed list which would be the current longest streak. The record is six shared by two others so that would make it a three way tie and could a new record be set in 2026?
This will be a large post but won't go overboard as I want to hold back some older things for future posts as the goal is to have one a month for the rest of the year. This post will be a mix of older things plus some newish pics that total about thirty but perhaps some of the older things are new for here. In some tremendous news it was announced last month that
Yui will be resuming her musical career and on August 27th will be releasing her first solo mini album which is titled "Yousti". Not much info has been revealed yet but on June 24th the unveiling of one track will take place, so far no song titles have been listed and bet the album isn't complete. Which is why the release date is so far in the future and below are some covers for the album,
Yui does play three instruments so hope she gets the chance to show off her skills on the album. What I'm hoping for is that a trend doesn't continue and that's of how so many ex-Idol's songs after they leave their groups are so slow and to an extent boring. Most tunes from J-Pop groups are upbeat and fun, especially for groups such as Keya and SKE along with C-ute. But when ex-members release solo songs they're so much slower and maybe that's why so few have become successful solo artists.
Not positive but don't think
Yui is into Rock music all that much, I don't mind slower tunes if they're good and think I may like her upcoming album more than I should. One thing she needs to do is post more photos at her IG page, this is it for the last month.

Yui never has been a huge poster of her pics, she was that way posting her photos at Keya's group blog. What a shame as her pics are so ultra terrific and I often enjoy these kinds of pics over the gravure ones many post from photo shoots.
As most know usually post older group cards for an Idol, most of the time they're for the month we're in. Keya never had monthly cards but instead ones for the four seasons so just made it for Spring, since the name change to Sakura the only cards are for their singles and tours. Many cards are often new for here but the supply isn't unlimited, once I post
Yui's Summer cards will have finished the seasons. But there's still other older cards to post such as for Keya's singles and whatever, this batch goes from the Spring of 2020 back to 2017.
In
Yui's last post done five weeks ago had many pics of her from the May 2nd Spring 'Girls Award' show and it's nice to see she still attends those events. Found a mini video from the show which isn't on YT and those are the bottom five screenshots below, very rarely are any of these large fashion shows held in the Summer so the next wouldn't take place until September.

From 2018 until mid 2020 no Keya member had as many magazine spreads as
Yui or at least it seemed that way to me. But like most Idols the spreads really tapered off beginning in 2021 and as a matter of fact don't think she's had one since leaving Keya. The set below is her final largish spread before graduating and is from the October 2023 issue of
andGirl.

Yui began as a
andGirl model in March 2023 though while on her 2024 hiatus she had no modeling pics with them. However she's been much busier with the magazine as of late, no spreads but this batch of super duper pics have been added to their site in the past month. We really need to see her do more modeling though doubt we would ever see any more gravure pics from her....
