This blog is getting close to being fourteen years old and just realized it's been nineteen years(2006) since I became a huge fan of Japanese dramas, movies, gravure models and of course J-Pop but will confess I am more of a rock fan but seldom do posts for bands. No real reason for opening up with those sentences as those thoughts popped into my head one second before I began to type. Last June was also a slow period which went on for about two months but it did allow me to begin on a pair of projects. One was to post some older photobooks of my long time favorite actresses, back before 2015 it was common for actresses to have books which doesn't happen as much these days but those older books are so tremendous! That and the other project are almost complete, that other was to repost some older books. Two reasons for that as before 2017 I often would cut a photobook into two posts and not sure why I did that as one post is usually enough 98% of the time. Plus sometimes I get better quality books which is why I may do a repost and this is one where the book was cut into two posts, I don't think having two posts garners as many views as one post but both for this book were popular which did surprise me.
When I opened the post up talking about how long I've been a fan of Japanese entertainment one reason could have been because of
Yuria 😍 who was one of my first ever massive favorite women! She was never a big star but from 2003 to about 2014 she was popular and did have the lead role in two movies and the co-lead in two TV series. One was the 2003 show "Kamen Rider 555" and that may be my top KR series which is really saying something as all of the series are quite good. Less than two years later
Yuria was in the "Shibuya 15" show and was that one of my all time favorites(!!), never did recap it but have viewed it 25 times(!) so highly recommend it. She also had the lead role in the 2008 movie "End Call" and what an underrated horror flick that was so that's another thing I recommend. Have also seen
Yuria in a few other things from that period plus there was this book along with a gravure video so she was one of my huge faves and though I won't give the date
Yuria's the closest in age to me of any woman I post about, she's a few months older so guess I like the older gals! So don't you viewers as
Yuria's too few posts have been much more popular than I expected, that also goes with many other older actresses who I try to do posts for but those have slowed way down.
The last decade hasn't been as busy for
Yuria but she did have the lead role in the 2014 movie "Aka X Pinku", the above two pics are from a photobook she also had for the movie. The film itself was only so-so but it's worth seeing because of her, make sure you watch the director's cut. I was so stunned that
Yuria left zero to the imagination, she must have been totally naked for 25 minutes in the movie and will say no one I've ever seen in a Japanese film topped the way she looked which to me was close to perfect! Did do a post for the movie's photobook but of course had to leave out her steamy pics but think you can still find it at some sites. So obviously
Yuria has been a huge fave of mine for such a long time, she still acts and has been in a trio of "Kamen Rider" films along with a web series since 2022 but isn't as busy as she once was. This terrific and underrated photobook was released in April 2009 or sixteen years ago, at the time

Yuria did make a return to gravure modeling as she had a digital book but sadly nothing since then, she'll be 38 in five months but to me still looks mighty fine! She did get married eight years ago but have a feeling she's no longer a wife. On to this fabulous set of pics which all should enjoy and just may recap something older from her as I have been in a nostalgic mood as of late. That "End Call" movie sounds like a wise decision and shame there was no video from this book's photo shoot.
