Mai Shinuchi: Just because ( 𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏 ) who else deserves a post more than her(?), volume #umpteen....

 

 The title is right on the money but was going to have the heading say 'Because I really, really, really, really wanted to do a post for her' but used that for her previous post which was her most viewed one in almost two years!!!! Nice to see Mai still has some fans out there or perhaps that was the first time many of you had checked out one of her posts. Mai is now up to 125 of them but until the Spring of 2020 she only had ten solo posts and I had been yearning for so long to do many more of them, least she had many photos in group posts. But the Gods were looking out for me(and her!) as this is now her 58th solo post so there's been 48 in the last 66 months which is about nine a year. That's a decent pace for me though wish it was a post a month but only one woman has been able to keep such a pace which for her is now over seven years averaging a post per month!!!!

 Gulp.... as if I would pass by her(!) and what's this about us sharing a pad.... news to me! And that news I would never complain about as I've said for years if I could choose(what a pipe dream!) one woman to be my girlfriend or more it would be Mai 😍 by a country mile and that gap grows each year. However she doesn't do nearly as well on different lists and that's because of others having so many more posts but Mai has now qualified for the yearly fave's list six years in a row! The current leader has eight consecutive years of having the six or more posts to be eligible for the list, she's tied for the second longest streak with an ex-Keya member. Mai made the cut in the four years from 2020-23 and even finished as high as fifth but barely missed the top ten last year. In 2024 she had six posts, this also makes it six for this year but she had averaged ten from 2021-23 and usually, but not all the time, the more posts the better! 

 So while Mai's posts are close to being the best I do there hasn't been enough of them the last two years plus they don't always contain a slew of new photos. Have to keep reminding myself the yearly list isn't an All Time list which at times can hurt a woman such as Mai, though she's seen a decrease in posts the last two years she's zoomed up on my all time list. When that list was done in the Summer of 2022 she finished in the twelfth position, when you think about all of the women I post about being that high was quite impressive. If I did that list today Mai would be about sixth, only reason it's not higher is because of not as many posts as those above her but in a way you could say that Mai 😍 is my #1 woman of all time and did say how she would top my list of who I would want as a girlfriend. It's hard to explain in words but that list and the All Time/Yearly ones are a bit different though most names are the same. This is a usual Mai post but perhaps even better for I did work a bit harder to find more older photos that had never been posted here before. That worked as there could be close to fifty new ones for today, some other older ones that had been posted and some current pics but wish there were more of them.

 What I need to work in the next three weeks is the list for this year's top ten or perhaps dozen faves for the list. The top two spots were easy to figure out but have no clue on any other position and also if Mai will make the list for the fifth time in six years. Last year the list had ten women and she finished in the eleventh spot, that's about where she currently is for this year so making the list will come down to how large the list is. Mai's last post was in September so never did post any of her Nogi Halloween cards.... hmmm, what costume would she look best in?!!!!

 Those above had been posted before but fairly sure this batch are new for here or at least most of them. Try to include old group cards for ex-Idols and often work from the newest to oldest cards which means often you don't see those cards from ten or so years ago. For today did the opposite as these go from oldest to newest for Nogi's November cards. Mai has always looked so terrific but really started to blossom around 2017 when she was 25 in age, it's nice to view cards in this order so you can see how a woman has changed over the years.

 Have said numerous times how I wish Mai would begin modeling again, she's done that in the past for three sites and often modeled OL attire. Bet Mai has a big female fan base so wouldn't it make sense for some fashion site to sign her up to model their OL clothing and as many might know she did work at the Sony office for about five years, three while she was a member of Nogi! Below are some 2020 modeling pics from the Oggi site with the first seven being from November or exactly five years ago.

 Back in 2022 Mai set a personal record with fourteen posts, that was the year she left Nogi plus had released her second photobook and was still a model for the above site. That year was unusual as her norm is about seven posts a year or has been for the two years before and after 2022. So was kind of surprised I missed this interview she did in July of that year with TheTV.jp site which was a series they did on Idols turned announcers. While with Nogi Mai was the host of the extremely popular 'All Night Nippon' radio show, after graduating she became a host for two different stations.  Have some brand new pics in this next set which are from Mai's IG page and also her Mai League fan club, she does post most photos there. The bottom ones are from the SDGs site, she hosts one of their radio shows on Saturday. Mai also appears as a host on many special TV programs but for some reason has never had a permanent show and she's such a natural when it comes to hosting as she's so easy going and intelligent. At her fan club site Mai did say her 2026 calendar would be coming out next month, she also said there will be an event for it along with a magazine spread so there's some things to look forward to. The top three had been in her September post but the photos are so superb they deserved to be seen again!

 Overture was a magazine that I think bit the dust four years ago, it wasn't a magazine I noticed often save for when some of my faves were in it. Which wasn't that often and Mai, along with three other Nogi gals, appeared in their September 2018 issue. But I never knew that until yesterday, the members from Nogi appeared in so many magazines from 2015-20 bet there's a few others that I'm not aware of. Don't have that Overture issue and will look for it but odds are low I will find it but do have five pics below from the photo shoot.... gulp, those top two pics of Mai 😍 as a bride.... whewwww!

 Speaking of missed magazines think I have one here which is from the January 15, 2022 issue of Flash. Mai graduated about a month later and while I didn't check in her posts around that time I can't recall ever seeing these photos before but had for another Nogi member who was the cover girl.

 We've hit the end and will leave you with some ultra perfect pics of Mai 😍 and no matter how many. thousands of times I've gaped at these pics will never grow tired of them and actually they(she) looks better with each passing day! Mai's 34th birthday is on January 22nd but don't want to wait that long for her next post so will have one in December.... if so does that mean she made this year's top ten on the fave's list???? This is the 'Legs Edition' of her greatest photos for does any woman in history top Mai's perfect legs?!!!! To me the answer is a massive NO and check out the video after the pics, keep forgetting that Nogi has a YT channel for their members. The video is from 2022 when Mai traveled to Mitsumine Shrine which is a little north of Tokyo, she's with a huge favorite of you viewers and it was her last activity as a Nogi member.... well, outside of her her graduation concert. The video is decent but back then is when masks were still mandatory so we sadly don't see enough of their faces but the video is still an interesting watch.
