Nana Yamada: Her astounding "4+3=7" memorial graduation photobook.... a repost....

For the second time in four days Nana has led off a post, that's the first and sadly last time that will ever happen and I do wonder if she'll ever have another post after today? Now that I've just given myself a challenge the answer would be probably now be YES but not in the foreseeable future. That previous post where Nana led off was a quickie preview of what to expect for this year's faves list and Nana never did qualify for a list. For the first time I ever did one was in 2015 and do the countdown in December, she had left NMB eight months before and except for Miyuki it's been so impossible to do many posts for NMB graduates. But did just do one for Miru the other day and plan on having another very soon so let me work on having posts for a few other gals. Two that come to mind are Akari and Sae, I don't think of them too often but both do have some terrific posts here and now that they're in my mind will work on reviving those two forgotten members but can't promise I'll be successful.

While my all time fave NMB member is Miyuki who is also in my top five of all time for favorite women until 2016 my top member by a huge margin had been Nana! She would have stayed #1 if she hadn't graduated so early from the group, it's easy to be a Monday Morning QB but I've always thought she should have remained with NMB for a few more years. When Nana left in April 2015 the group had only released eleven singles so while she was popular not at the level she thought she was at. Nana was fairly busy up until 2019, no huge successes but had the lead in a movie, did co-host a variety show, had a few calendars and in 2016 released her second photobook which is in my top five of all time!

Nana was kind of busy but she may have felt a bit discouraged her popularity dropped after leaving NMB which happens to 99+% of J-Pop Idols. In 2021 Nana did retire from show biz but has made a partial return, she did appear at a fashion show last year and even formed an Idol group which she still manages, that was last year and the group is still together. Above are some recent photos from Nana's IG page, I still think she looks so ultra fabulous and she's now 33 in age. Above was saying that for a while Nana 😍 was my number one member from NMB and when she left was close to being my top Idol, she has such a unique sense of wry humor and you have to view her videos to notice that. But also Nana is almost unbeatable as far as hotness goes to me, it's no exaggeration that even though it's been seven years since her last gravure set of photos Nana would still be in my top five for all time hottest, alluring and most desirable of Idols!!!!

In other words Nana has remained such a huge fave of mine and if I could change a few things about the gals I like and post about her leaving NMB just a bit too early would be the among the first changes I would do. On to the book and above are two pics from the photo shoot that had never been posted until now, her hotness is off the charts! When I first posted this book cut it into two posts when one would have been enough. But to top it off screwed up the order when part two was the first post you would view so for so long wanted to fix that and also the order of the photos which wasn't quite accurate. So deleted the previous two posts but the amount of photos stayed the same at 122, the photo shoots took place in Okinawa and Nana's hometown of Osaka. There's fifty gravure pics or about 41% of the pics which led off the book, then there's a bunch of then with Nana and her NMB mates from 2011-15. Then there's a set of Nana giving us a tour of Osaka and places she would frequent, at the end are pics and text from her final NMB concert which took place on April 3, 2015 which was Nana's 23rd birthday. This book came out two weeks after that concert which is how they had photos from it. There's a 57 minute DVD that came with the book which I've viewed at least a hundred times, I'm usually in seventh heaven while watching it! That video is too long for here but after the sizzling photos is a promo video for the DVD and recommend checking it out as it's only a little over five minutes long. Posts such as this one are so enjoyable to do but sadly can't do enough of them but in a way that's not a bad thing as it means I didn't need to revive someone from a long hibernation....
