Here's a kind of post which I did for the first time last month but don't think it'll become too common. Which is of having two medium sized digital books in a post, had always been able to pair a book up with a magazine spread that was promoting it or a few other current activities for the woman but didn't have those things for the two posts. Right around now is when I begin to hold back on doing posts for those women who will be making that year's fave's list, undecided on whether the list will have ten or a dozen. However may do one more post for Ruka in ten days if there's little else to have a post for and think this is the first time there's been back to back posts for a pair of SKE graduates.
Those posts for the countdown I try to make rather large with a variety of things and tend not to have too many digital books. So will hold back two mini
Ruka magazine spreads, her recent IG photos and whatever else she'd done the last few weeks and have all of them for her spot on the fave's list.
Ruka will squeeze into the top ten as she was such an unexpected surprise to all of us this year, she had been one of my favorite SKE gals but when she graduated seventeen months ago figured that would be the last we saw of her. But luckily that wasn't to be as she's become a very busy gravure model and also does quite a bit of acting but not much else. Had
Ruka's activities featured more variety she may have ended up in my top five for this year's list but just making it is a pleasant surprise. What I can't believe is that
Ruka still doesn't have her own
Ja.wiki page and may be the only known SKE member that's been the case for. She's no superstar but
Ruka is kind of popular and has done plenty to merit her own page, for Japanese actresses and Idols the
Ja.wiki page is much more informative than the American page.
After graduating from SKE
Ruka's first regular photobook then her digital ones left very little to the imagination and that shocked me to an extent. She's now toned down that exposure a bit, her gravure photos are still dazzling but she does wear a bit more these days! The two books for today had no accompanying magazine spreads and wanted to get to the pair before they got to be outdated. This first spread was released by the
BLT magazine on May 20th and contains 41 pics, I don't know if any model topped the amount of books that
Ruka had this year.
This second book was released on June 20th by the
Bubka magazine and has 47 photos so the pair had a total of 88 pics.
Ruka does have another book with this magazine that came out on October 7th and is much larger with over eighty pics so may have that book next week. This makes it a Baker's Dozen for her this year and all in all will say
Ruka will end up being my most pleasant surprise of the year, actually perhaps the top one since this blog began as I had no idea she would have seen such a resurgence in her career. The top ten women for posts this year have a total of 136 of them or an average of almost fourteen posts each. So the busiest gals have been having just as many posts as previous years and it's the gals in the 'medium-busy' group who haven't carried their weight this year.... Shame there's no videos for the books but that's been the case for most of her 2025 mag spreads and books.
