Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Hinako Sakurai: Few recent happenings....

Like so many other newer faves had forgotten all about Hinako, with a kawaiiness level that's off the charts you'd think she'd constantly be in your mind. Since her last post Hinako has celebrated a birthday, she's now the ripe old age of 21 with that happening on April 2nd and that date is also the same of a Juice=Juice member.

Not a huge post as it was one of those spur of the moment ones, was trying to have a post for someone who was way overdue for one and didn't want it to be for an Idol. Really wish Hinako would appear in more dramas, have seen her in one but for some reason she hasn't appeared in too many of them despite her popularity. Same goes for her film appearances but Hinako does have the lead role in her next movie "You, I Love" which will be released in November, there's one short trailer out which is at the top.

On June 26th Hinako was at a press conference for 'Telework Days', not sure exactly of all of the details. But roughly it's for a government program that will be taking place July 23rd to the 27th, it's a tie in for the 2020 Olympics and think it's testing how it's telecommunications will go. That's not of huge importance to us or at least compared to how utterly kawaii Hinako was at the event....

May be able to have another Hinako post soon as there are a few other newish happenings plus other things I've missed from the past two months. Hinako does a good job at updating her Line blog and usually has some terrific pics of her with these being from the past two weeks.

On to three mag spreads, Hinako has the cover of the My 15th issue of SPA! though wish her set was more than two pages.

Bigger set of pics here which are from Young Jump #20.

Have never seen Hinako do a gravure type of spread and glad she doesn't need to, kind of get tired of looking at those after a while and a gal like her are ones we need more of. Final set is from an interview for the website Digimono, their interviewees are always with women who wear glasses.
