Yuki Kashiwagi: The first in the .... '𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑱𝒖𝒎𝒑 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒑𝒍𝒖𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔'.... series!!!!

 

 Have been in a semi rut for a long time, not a negative rut at all but though the posts have been bigger and better than ever now and again need to do some kinds of different ones. Which isn't as easy as it sounds and it's not that these posts will be containing anything different but it's been years since I've done any kind of series such as this and I'm looking forward to it! Led off the month with a pair of Yuki posts that had the scans from her Young Jump magazine's "Time Capsule" photobook that was released on January 29th, what a huge book as it had 265 photos so for a change a pair of posts was needed! Over the last fifteen years Yuki must have had fifty spreads for the magazine which had to be more than any other woman.

 Noticed her spreads would usually have 10-12 pics so if there were fifty spreads that would have meant over 500 pages in the book. But there weren't as only about half a spread made it to the photo book plus there was no order to the ultra terrific photos such as what issue did it come from. I had almost all of Yuki's Young Jump spreads posted up until the Spring of 2020 but none since. So what the series will consist of is working backwards from her newest to oldest spreads for the magazine plus will include a few other treats in these posts such as event pics, AKB cards, IG photos and whatever else. When I get to the Spring of 2020 won't stop there as why not keep going on as I do have her Young Jump spreads from before then. To me those older spreads may have been a bit better and bet so many may have forgotten all about those spreads or have never seen them!

 This kind of series is a very unique one as there's no other woman who I could go back so far in time with and I did miss doing posts for Yuki. Who had 71 of them by the Summer of 2020 and just about all were solo posts so outside of some Nogi members she may have had more posts than any other Idol at the time. Then it seemed Yuki's activities slowed way down, she did take a hiatus for a while because of some health issues and though I have always followed her career the posts ceased for Yuki until those two recent posts for her Young Jump photobook. I will confess that I am a huge Yuki fan 😍 and perhaps if the ball had bounced a different way than it did she could have been in the running to be my all time #1 woman! That won't happen but she has made my yearly faves list three times and am now fairly darn certain she just may make my next All Time list, the countdown for that should begin in thirteen months.

 I hate saying negative things about my bigger faves and if you've noticed it's seldom happened, usually I'll just keep my mouth shut and not do any posts for that woman. About four or so years ago Yuki did seem to lose a bit too much weight and she didn't need to as she looked ultra alluring but it kind of turned me off for a while. But looking back on the situation perhaps Yuki's illness had something to do with her weight loss and she never did gain all of it back but looks much better these days. Could it have been her age too which was a reason for losing weight? At the time Yuki was 29/30 in age and while that's not too old it is for a J-Pop Idol and maybe she wanted to remind all of the newbies that she's still an Idol to reckon with and in the end run you would have to say Yuki came out on top! 

 Don't when it started but the intros for many posts there days are longer than ever, it's not a negative as there is a lot of info in the section but it does take a while to get to the meat of a post. For this series will have 3-4 Young Jump magazine spreads per post, for today have a quartet that total 47 photos. Then will dig up some other goodies and I am really going to enjoy this series which should be going on for a while and hope there are many others who also like Yuki immensely. Because this intro to the series was so long won't have any current news or other tales of what's been going on since her April 2024 graduation from AKB though will in the future. Yuki hasn't given up on her singing career and she did have a mini solo career while with them. This Saturday which is August 2nd Yuki will be having her first concert since departing from AKB and it'll be at this year's 'Tokyo Idol Festival', hundreds of groups appear at the festival including almost all of the most popular acts. Will have some details about that in Yuki's next post, think I will have one of these series posts every 10-12 days.

 Yuki does hold the record for being with AKB the longest as she had joined them in 2007 so her tenure was seventeen years. However besides appearing on their singles and at some concerts Yuki didn't do all that many activities with the group her final three years. Back on July 15th Yuki celebrated her 34th birthday and I do prefer posting about women around that age which isn't easy to do. Don't have any pics of her blowing out candles this year but do have some below from years past. You do see a pair with her French Kiss side group, at one time I adored Aki Takajo to no end and she's on the right in the photos, she's now retired after marrying a Baseball player six years ago.

 Yuki seldom posts photos at her IG page and that's become common for those who have fan clubs. So this is it from the past two months though those top two pics are so oki-doki in my book, she was also at a grad concert for an ex-AKB mate and one other pic is for her fan club birthday party. The bottom pics are from Yuki's YT channel and she posts the links at her IG page, she does do an excellent job at her channel though it's geared more towards women as there's much talk about fashion, makeup, etc. though at times does talk about food such as Ramen. In the years 2017/18 Yuki was the highest earner among Idols but don't think success ever went to her head and bet she's a fun gal to hang out with.

 One final thing before the Young Jump spreads and these are some older AKB 'Overseas Travel Diary' cards which came out in the Spring of 2013. You will be seeing many more of these as I don't think the ones for her were ever posted but will double check that, even if they were sure all have forgotten about them.

 On to the spreads and will be working from newest to oldest and hope the order is 100% accurate. Will also include a video from one of the spread's photo shoots and though Yuki looks tremendous in photos she looks that much better in videos. Hopefully she'll still be appearing in future Young Jump issues and why not as there has to be many guys like me who think those 30+ in age look better than those five or more years younger. First off is this set from the March 6th issue of Young Jump, it was promoting her "Time Capsule" photobook which is why there's older pics. It's one of the few issues where she wasn't the cover girl.... well, I'd say that happened with about 2/3's of her spreads.

 Second up has Yuki as the cover girl for their November 14, 2024 issue and in an odd observation I've always noticed how thin Yuki's arms are, not just on this cover but going back a decade. This is final spread to date with a video so will have it at the bottom of the post.

 It had been six months since her last 2024 Young Jump spread as this set is dated for May 2nd but she was the cover girl again. It's the largest spread for today and she only had two for the magazine last year.

 Final Yuki spread for today is the smallest and is from the September 8, 2023 issue of Young Jump. After the pics is the video for the second spread which is quite fun and how come I don't see such alluring women dancing that way in nearby farms.... or (un)dressed like that?!
