Hopefully that video at the top will stay there for a while, if not let me know and can replace it. With all of these Nogi graduations may be on the hunt for a new fave current J-Pop group. SKE would be my likely alternative though their last two singles have just been so-so. So then think this group of gals may move into the top, not right away but can see that happening down the road.
In case you didn't know Hinatazaka is the new name for Hiragana46, same group of gals with a different name. Guess they wanted to get out of the the Kanji's member's shadows though both groups have been far apart for a while. The 'Bingo' shows for Nogi and AKB have gone way downhill the past few years and the new SKE version isn't as good as I hoped. But on April 16th Hina will be having their own 'Bingo' show, the Keya episodes they appeared on were always the best of the bunch and know I'll be tuning in.
Two days ago the group released their first single but they did have an album that came out last June which topped the charts. This new single which is titled "Kyun" will also be a chart topper and think so many J-Pop fans are surprised at the high sales numbers. Day one's total was 353,600 copies sold while on day two 32,000+ were sold for a two day total of 386,000! That's a very impressive number for a debut single and that's much higher than the singles of SKE or NMB the part three years, these are the covers for the single. At the top of the post is the PV which I hope stays on YT.
Hope to have another post next week as there's a mag spread which won't be posted today plus will have more individual news. Perhaps there will be two posts as five members will appearing at Saturday's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and may have many pics from it, as you can see they're also scheduled for the April 20th show.
Hina played two(!) shows on March 5th and 6th at the Yokohama Arena which is a fairly big place. It was a 'Countdown Show' for the new single but it was also the first time they performed a concert with their new name. The March 5th show was their final one with the Hiragana name as you can see in the first screenshot.
These girls perform so many concerts and are actually quite better at shows than Keya is but don't think they have a DVD out yet. Pics here are from another concert that took place on March 14th at Zepp Tokyo which was broadcast on MTV Japan.
The members will be having a new campaign for Shibuya 109, some CM's are scheduled though none are on YT yet as perhaps there may be an event first.
Lets move on to the mag spreads for today which total three. Do have one more of them along with some other new happenings but this post is huge enough and will have them in the group's next post(s). Hard to say who the most popular Hina member is, there's about five who are vying for the title and one of them is Mirei. She has the first set which is from WPB #12.
Shiho is also a popular member, wouldn't doubt if she's #1 in the eyes of most fans. This spread is also from WPB but issue #13.
Final set for today is also from WPB #13 which features my number one member who is Kyoko. Would love to see her have a photobook and what I can't understand is why she doesn't appear at those mega TGC shows. You have to be an exclusive model for a magazine or site and these days Kyoko is one for Bis. Bottom five pics are bonus ones from the photo shoot. Though no new CM for Shibuya 109 do have one at the bottom for Mechakari which is a clothing line.
