Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Keyakizaka46: The utterly quintessential 'Risa Watanabe post' #15!!!!
Thanks to all who've now made Risa one of the more popular gals here. She's been a mega fave of mine for a while now and would say she's my #1 current Idol. Think she's got a great chance too at ending up being number one of my top twenty list for this year, took 2018 off due to having the mega series for my top twenty of all time.
Risa should claim the top spot if she doesn't disappear entirely the second half of this year, know there will be two more posts for her in April but after that who knows, Idols tend to vanish a few weeks after they release a photobbok. Her first one is coming out on April 10th, above are two more new advance pics from the book which promises to be the best one of the year. Mentioned that Risa has now become so much more popular, of her first twelve solo posts zero made the top ten most viewed list that's on the right hand side. But her last two have both cracked the list as those posts are currently in the seventh and eighth positions.
Keep thinking these posts are going to become smaller but they haven't, for today probably have sixty or so brand new pics as they keep on coming as this is already her sixth solo post for 2019. That pic right above though you saw in Risa's last post which is one of the covers for the new PB. The previous few posts have talked about Keya's two dramas and wish the group would have another one. Their first show was better but did enjoy 'Zankokuna' from 2017 quite a bit, she played Ayano or girl #21 in the show. Most of the group did fairly well but when there's twenty members hard for everyone to get a lot of screen time.
There's been a bit of a slowdown of new promo pics for the photobook which is titled "Mukuchi", guess that's expected as you need to let the suspense for it build a bit. But the top two pics were new ones along with these though the first four have already been posted.
Back in January posted a tremendous Risa spread from Entame, since then there have been a few outtake pics from the photo shoot at the mag's site.
Don't think there's ever been a Risa post with no pics from Non-no. It's taken a while but she's become one of their more popular models and the amount of pics they have of Risa at their site has really been increasing with that fourth pic being my fave.
The spread wasn't all that huge but for the first time ever Risa was the solo cover girl for Non-no and that was for their May edition.
Saved the best pics for last which are from the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Spring show which was held today in front of 31,000+ fans at the Yokohama Pacifico Arena. Risa was joined by a trio of Keya gals and will have solo pics of them in the next group post. Risa looked mighty fine with the other members but even more so when she took a solo stroll on the catwalk and the yellow dress is certainly so Summery. She was there representing Non-no of course but the first batch with the other members were of the foursome promoting a new AEON Keya card. No good videos of the event on YT yet so after the superb pics have a promo video from Non-no and their May issue.
