Not as intense of a cliffhanger at the end of episode six as there were for the previous shows but all of the episodes have gotten so much better. There aren't too many students remaining at the Freeasia Academy who aren't Zambis, the trio above and after them we didn't see any other normal human beings or at least students. Where we had left off was with our Zambi hunting trio of Kaede, Minori and Hijiki hiding out from the Zambis in a school storage room.
At the conclusion of the previous episode the trio had noticed a locker with blood on it, shortly after noticing it they also heard an eerie sound from inside the locker. As the girls stared at the locker in terror it's door slowly opened, creeping out of it was a creature who didn't look too much like a Zambi. But the face was familiar to Kaede who knew instantly that the creature was their teacher, for a long time the trio and us viewers thought she may have had a hand in protecting the Zambis.
That wasn't the case as she had been bitten and the teacher immediately pounced on the girls, all escaped save for Hijiri. Just when it appeared her life wouldn't be lasting much longer an object was thrust though the teacher's body but it wasn't one of Hijiri's friends who saved her. Instead it was the reporter Moriguchi who we've seen on occasion, he had first met Kaede at Zambi Village. He was worried about her and the rest of the students at the school and came to check on them, good thing he did as there may have been no un-Zambis left.

The teacher may be down though she's not out for the count, the same goes for any other Zambis the girls think they've killed. According to Moriguchi a creature can't be killed once they've hit a certain stage of 'Zambi-ism', there's only one way do officially kill one and we'll find out soon enough what that method is. But for now there's only one thing the girls and Moriguchi can do and that's to flee the school, easier said than done.
That's because all of the doors have been padlocked, can't understand why they just didn't break a window. With the doors a no-go the quartet began to hunt around the school for anything whether it's an exit they missed, any non-Zambis or what they're soon to come across. Just as Moriguchi was about to explain how to truly get rid of a Zambi to Kaede he was interrupted by Minori who once again has noticed a strange sound coming from behind a doorway.
Kaede has no fear in her bones and headed right to the door, when she opened the potentially dangerous door she found a student cowering in a small closet, a student who looked normal. She was Megumi and she did tell the group that she had been hiding out from the Zambis and was normal. That wasn't the case as Minori used her mirror on Megumi, as you can see in the screenshot above a normal human wasn't reflected in the mirror but as usual the group was able to barely escape safely though they're still trapped in the school.

Think there's little doubt that every student save for these three is now a Zambi. As they were mapping out their next move in a classroom Sena had entered the room, the girls had helped her out looking for her best friend two episodes ago. But Sena has joined the ranks of the undead and now her main purpose in life is to end the girls human life. She was no challenge for Kaede and her mates but before long an army of Zambis had entered as the four ran for their lives.
But as they did so they were split up with Minori and Hijiri taking cover in another storage room. Hijiri is slowly starting to lose her mind and if it wasn't for Minori's soothing presence she may have let a Zambi do whatever they wanted to her. Meanwhile Kaede was with Moriguchi, you can see what question she asked above and that will get answered in the next show.
The pair ended up in the boiler room and it seemed to Kaede Moriguchi had been there before setting some things up. There were a row of candles he had Kaede light while he was arranging some other objects for what looked to be a ceremony. Just as Kaede had finished lighting them all she heard Moriguchi behind her, as Kaede turned around it appeared her was about to strike her! Did he or was it just a mirage, the answer to that is in the next recap as this show ended on that note.

Another decent show and while this isn't the best horror series I've viewed it's turned into an interesting drama. Will say that Asuka isn't the one of the better Idol  actresses though she does have the lead role in the show, Miona though has been quite good and her part is getting a bit bigger with each episode. Next post has the recap for episode eight which was definitely influenced by the
'Ring' films.
