Sayuri Date: Her highly anticipated first intro post!!!!

 

 I do make quite a few mistakes here though most are very minor and easily fixable. Then there's some that are hard to classify for are they mistakes or is it an early case of dementia for me? The last two or so years I have become so forgetful with things, not in my regular life but mainly with blogging. I tend to forget about posting a book for months or think that I have done so etc. etc., nothing major but it does get a bit irritating. Often my blunders have a silver lining and in the end run am glad I did forget to do (whatever) as things tend to work out even better.... does that make sense? Here's a mistake on my part and it had to do with putting her file of photos in a folder which I don't check often and should have been put into my folder of Liella!. That's a voice acting troupe which has grown over the years from five to eleven members, they've been around since early 2021. Have done some posts for a few members, mainly for Nagisa 😍 and you don't need all of the fingers on one hand to count how many women I adore more than her!

 Do have that rule about being 22 in age to be introduced, that's no problem with today's newbie. A year ago was getting ready to start on these intro posts for Sayuri as she was going to celebrate her 22nd birthday on September 30th, was planning on doing intro posts in October for her. But here we are almost a year later and as I moaned(laughed?) about above did forget all about her and mainly because of my blunders. But as I also said these memory slips tend to work in my favor as it now means I have someone new I can do posts for and the number of those women has dropped so much over the years. So wouldn't doubt if I can do at least five of these posts for Sayuri over the next two months and she seems like someone who should be able to have posts in the future. Plus as you know I really do like voice actresses so am also planning on having a few more posts for those from Liella! and the long time anime series they're most known for is "Long Live! Superstar!".

 Try not to make these intro posts too huge as to have more of them. So this first post will just have four sections of photos but they add up to be about 85 pics and I'm going to enjoy doing posts for her. However wonder if Sayuri will be all that popular with you viewers, though she's ultra kawaii and her pics are all truly superb none could be considered gravure pics and those do make most posts extremely popular. But have noticed many of you viewers have become like me to an extant and really do adore voice actresses as their posts do draw so many more views than you would think. Sadly very few ever hit it to the six posts needed to be eligible for the yearly faves list, perhaps I should combine all of the members of a group and have them as ONE meaning that would be a group position on the list. A group that springs to mind is Aqours and of course Liella, it's rare doing that but have done so twice with the first being back in 2017. I was such a huge Nogi fan then and had so many members who were such favorites of mine. Couldn't make up my mind who were my top members so instead of having five spots for Nogi gals grouped them all together for one position which I think was eighth(?).

 One thing I have said often is how short voice actresses are and wonder why? The average height for a woman in Japan is just shy of 63 inches or about 159 cm, that's only one inch shorter than an American female and the gap has been closing. Sayuri's height is just 150 cm and further down is a photo of all Liella members who are taller than I thought.... or is it because of who they're standing next to?! Sayuri hails from Sendai which is where that massive Tsunami happened in 2011 and at the time she was 8 1/2 in age. After graduating from high school Sayuri passed an audition to be a voice actress and was one of five to form the Liella voice actors group. At eighteen she was the youngest member but those kinds of groups do need some younger/older members. The "Long Live! Sunshine" anime was her first role and that series is still going on, she does the role of Kanon Shibuya. I've never seen it but now am getting mighty curious about this popular series, don't talk about it often but I do love Animes and that is now a show I will view very soon!

 Let's get to the meat of this post and will have much more bio info as these posts go along. At first I thought there would be five of these intro posts but the total could be seven and by then there would be no need to call them intro posts. Besides being a voice acting troupe Liella also puts on many concerts plus have so many singles and soundtracks for animes. The bottom pic below is their current eleven person lineup, Sayuri is in the middle and as you can see is the shortest of them all though not many tower over her by that much. The batch below are photos from the past month Sayuri posted at her IG page, five are from her 'Date ni Radio' show which has been going on for three years and she's won a pair of awards for it. Also included a promo pic for the "Long Live! Superstar" anime, do want to have more solo posts for members but also a few group ones and think there's been one of those done but not 100% positive.

 Sayuri has a very popular fan club, for her 23rd birthday which takes place on September 30th she will be holding a huge bash for the club members. At those parties she also puts on a concert, last year's event took place at the Omiya Sonic Hall in Saitama which can hold up to 2,500 fans. Sayuri is a model for the Kangol Reward site and at least two other gals I post about also model for them, below are some of her modeling pics. She also has a monthly column at the Febri site, the pics they have there are more than oki-doki(!) so will have some of those photos soon along with the links to some columns.

 Sayuri has a decent amount of solo magazine spreads, one is so huge I'm going to call it a digital book as it contains 32 pages! But won't be having that spread yet, the one below is a terrific one from the January 2023 edition of Young Dragon Age. At the time she was 21+ in age so won't be going back any further than this with her mag spreads, she does have six digital books but her first wasn't until June 2023 and that will be right after this set. 

 For the finale of Sayuri's potentially historical intro post(!) have this mighty fine White Graph digital book. It's also a magazine that comes out 3-4 times a month and usually just features members of Nogi, Keya or Hina, one group per issue. This set which isn't an official digital book contains fifty photos and to me they deserve a grade of an A+++++, I'm much preferring pics such as these over gravure pics lately. After this semi-book is a Liella! video and it's an old one for, when they just had the original five members. The song is the title track from their first album which was released on March 2, 2022 and it reached..... Number Three on the charts! Wow, that impresses me and it's a decent song too, while I wouldn't call songs from voice actresses or their groups 'classics' their tunes are much better than regular J-Pop groups these days. Sayuri's next post will be in two weeks, then two weeks after will be her third which will be for her 23rd birthday.
