Yuki Kashiwagi: The third in the .... '𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑱𝒖𝒎𝒑 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒑𝒍𝒖𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔'.... series!!!!

 

 Little bit early with this third post of the series, was going to have one every two weeks but it's only been eight days since that last post. That's okay as we had gone so long with zero Yuki posts and after looking at so many pics of her the last month will admit I did miss her quite a bit. The posts had stopped for her late in 2020 which mainly was because of her dip in activities, it was never meant to be permanent but had slightly forgotten about her. That will no longer happen and though it may take a while she should hit the milestone of a hundred posts next year though if she had remained at her level of busyness it would have taken place around 2023.

 When I begam this series for Yuki's Young Jump magazine spreads had no idea how far back I would go with them or how many spreads I had missed. Will have four per post so today means a dozen of the spreads will have been posted, thinking maybe two more after this? Then there's plenty of other magazine spreads to post from 2021-24 along with some missed before that. Plus will be posting Yuki's third photobook that came out in 2021 and was thinking of having that as her next post(s). Used plural as perhaps will have an intro one featuring any mag spreads to promote it and if there was an event have photos from that so expect one or hopefully two posts in about ten days.

 Whew, that above is one of the most superb photos from the past two years and even though she's now 34 in age hope Yuki continues on with these kinds of magazine spreads. When a woman has five posts in six weeks there isn't all that many current activities I haven't discussed but nice to see she's starting to become a bit more busier. Below are pics added to her IG page the last eight days with the top one actually being a poster for an upcoming concert. On November 18th Yuki will be traveling to Shanghai for a show and it'll be an acoustic concert, she's not giving up her singing career like 99% of J-Pop Idols seem to do. She did perform at this year's Tokyo Idol Festival and she did sing live which is so uncommon for (ex)'46/48' members. She's had three physical singles and all have hit the top five in the charts, there was also a downloadable tune last Autumn but would like to see Yuki release a few more regular singles and perhaps a mini album.

 Small batch here is from the January 11th 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show which took place in Shizuoka, it's not one of their major shows and those will be starting up again next month. This was Yuki's first appearance at a fashion show after graduating from AKB about eight months before. She has some truly dazzling pics from a 2023 TGC show and those will be in her next regular post.

 After about 2014 AKB had so few group card series, mainly for their singles and/or tours. Before that year they had so many special kinds of cards or pictorials such as this ancient set that's now fifteen years old! Which means these Verbatim cards came out in 2010 when she was just hitting the age of nineteen, didn't Yuki blossom so much in the coming years?!

 Sigh, how I'd love to have a private nurse that looked like her! Now on to the quartet of Yuki's Young Jump magazine spreads and this series was inspired by the photobook they put out earlier this year that had many older pics but no complete spreads. So am working backwards with the spreads and these four should wrap up these older missed spreads, first up is this set that's from their August 5, 2021 issue so it's exactly four years old.

 Up next is this set from Young Jump's March 18, 2021 edition and shew was the cover girl for all four spreads. You will notice in this spread and the one above that Yuki looked a bit thinner than she usually does. She did have some health problems towards the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 which resulted in her losing too much weight and it wasn't her fault. For a while I had thought it was but didn't learn until a year or so later about her health problems, she hasn't gained all of the weight back but is truly looking so terrific once again these days!

 Third up is this set from the September 24, 2020 issue of Young Jump. she's had so many spreads with them but this had been her first in over three years. If you compare the photos to the above sets Yuki does seem to be a bit more solid though of course being a J-Pop Idol means she'll always have that 'thinness look' about her. Never paid enough attention to her height but Yuki is 165 cm and for AKB it's kind of tall. About two years ago someone suggested doing a list of my favorite taller women but never added in more details such as what height range to use? 165 cm is just about 65 inches so that seems like a starting point, as far as Idols go there's not a huge amount that tall but there are plenty of gravure models and does anyone else have any suggestions or other ideas?

 Was going to stop with the above one but to make it a quartet will have this final spread that's from the July 27, 2017 issue of Young Jump. Did mention above how she had gone three years with zero spreads for the magazine, this came out ten days after her 26th birthday. So now am up to twelve Young Jump spreads and noticed in my huge collection of them(!) Yuki appeared in so many more from 2011 to 2015 and even had two web photobooks for them. Even though those have been posted will get to them again as they were in posts done a decade ago and if you're like me you've forgotten about most of those spreads. But next up will be a post or two for her third regular photobook that was released in 2021, then will let you know what my schedule is for future Yuki posts. After the pics is a video from a Young Jump photo shoot but for none of today's spreads. This is from June 2023 and had the mag spread in post number two of this series but didn't have the video in that post, it's so darn terrific think her fans would love to gape at it.... know I've been enjoying doing that!!!!
