Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Keyakizaka46... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Lee Yeon-Hee!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!
Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.
Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Rena Matsui: "Bakumatsu Junjo Den" play- opening night pics and video
Rena will be turning 25 in about a month, appears as if she's about to leave her Idol days behind. Wondering if we'll see her have any more photobook, provocative mag spreads or remaining a singer. Rena did release her first solo single back in April, it was a fairly cool tune and nothing like the songs SKE did or still does.
Haven't heard too much from Rena recently but that's probably because she was rehearsing for her first stage play and one she has the lead role in "Bakumatsu Junjo Den". You can also put the word 'new' in front of the title as it's kind of a sequel to the original play that first was staged back in 2009. The play opened today at the Tennoz Galaxy Theater in Tokyo, next month it moves on to Osaka.
Really a big change for Rena as she portrays an unbeatable swordswoman, most of her role except for the "Gift" film have been less than serious roles. Have some pics from the press conference that took place before the first performance plus some of her in the play. Also have a video of both after the pics, prefer the Rena in the above pic but she still looks A-OK in a jumpsuit.
