Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

C-ute: 11th anniversary H!P cards

Hard to believe this group has been around for eleven years now, they were formed on June 11, 1005 yet didn't release a single until May of 2006 so actually it's more of a tenth anniversary. Think there's a fan club event soon for this occasion, fairly sure it's happening tomorrow.
Lately have been watching many of their 'C-ute DVD Magazines', they have between five and eight of them that come out a year and sure this event will be in one of the upcoming DVD releases. Last one I viewed was #61 which is their newest one, it's from their Autumn 2015 'Can't Stop' tour Not many tunes but mainly behind the scenes segments which is actually more enjoyable as I've seen way too many of their concerts lately.
C-ute's last single was released on April 20th and the main tune was titled "Naze Hito wa Arasoun Darou?". Didn't start out as strong as some of their previous singles but has had a bit more staying power as it's now their third best selling single as it's sold over 65,000 copies. The group's last nine singles have sold between 53,000 to 73,000 copies, wish one of these singles would eventually hit that 100 K milestone.
On to the cards, hopefully they'll be a few more for their anniversary coming out as there's been a slowdown on these H!P cards lately. As usual the order goes Maimi, Saki, Airi, Chisato and Mai.
