 Episode title: Revival

Been a few weeks once the last quartet of recaps, it's not a complicated plot but if you forget what's been happening may be a good idea to read the previous posts. The fourth episode was really only
so-so at best but the series does begin to pick up the pace again and it seems every show is slightly better than the previous one.

The world is still overrun by zombies, most of the action takes place at the Fujimi high school where there are 31 people holed up. That number is slowly dwindling, don't know the official count but it seems as though 26 humans are left at the school with the totals being twenty female students, three teachers and a family of three.
At the end of the third episode a student named Arina was bitten by a zombie saving her classmate Mutsumi, most of the fourth show was devoted to four students heading to the local hospital where there may be an antidote. That didn't work out as one gal, Maiko, got separated from the group and the rest of the episode had been about her finding an old boy she liked which turned out to be incredibly boring and we never did the see the other three heading to the hospital.
This show picks up with the three remaining students who are Mutsumi, Mao and Iori heading to the hospital. They finally locate the place and are shocked to find living humans there. However all are quite sick except for a pair of student nurses named Aida and Midori who are swamped with humans infected with the zombie virus. They do have the antidote there but their supply is almost depleted so the three can only bring back three vials for their sick classmate Arina.

Just as the trio were heading back to their school outside of the hospital waiting for them was Maiko who they all thought was dead. Now it's back to the Fujimi high school to save their friend Arina and hopefully it's in time as they just have 24 hours to inject her with the cure. The problem is that Arina is wandering around the school yard with dozens of other zombies, how will they be able to get next to her to give the shot?
There was a meeting where the students thought shooting the antidote into her with an arrow would work, as you can see from the bottom pic Maiko is the most qualified. There's another problem which is the amount of zombies that are around Arina, Maiko can't get a clear shot and they can't afford to take more than one. But in the nick of time the mysterious DJ Maron begins playing a song over the school's loudspeakers, the girls haven't figured out what the name of the song is yet but for some reason it makes the zombies start dancing and become helpless.
That was the opening Maiko needed and she was able to hit Arina with the arrow/injection on her first shot. While the zombies were in the midst of their dancing the girls rushed out to the yard and were able to bring Arina to safety though she's passed out. Eventually she does wake up in the school's infirmary and all seems well with her though it will take a while for the antidote to completely cure her.

As you can see Arina seems okay for now but there are even more problems happening at the school. One by one students are slowly disappearing and no one has a clue to what could have happened to them. However a few girls are starting to become even more suspicious of Momoka who we didn't see too often this show but we do in the next two episodes.
Seems when someone has an argument with her or get on Momoka's bad side they vanish and a few girls are thinking she's behind the disappearances. Momoka doesn't help her cause by joking she ate the girls and even attempted to eat one who was still alive and she happened to wake up just in time. In the final minute the trio head back to the infirmary to check on Arina and to their bewilderment she's gone!
But there's a piece of evidence that the culprit left behind, it's a tube of lipstick and it just so happened to belong to Momoka as the episode ends with her being the main suspect in the disappearance of Arina. Also two screenshots here show the girl's teacher Terakawa, she may have discovered the meaning of the song but she's not as nice as everyone thinks she is.

Idol dramas definitely aren't too complicated though most are very enjoyable watches. As mentioned the pace does pick up a bit and by the time we get to the eighth show there's quite a bit of action and some slightly chilling gore. Doing what I did for the first four recaps which is to write all four in a row so after this one are the recaps for episodes six through eight.
