Bit late in starting this series but better late than never. It's actually a trend for me as I seem to enjoy a drama more a few years after it's aired instead of trying to keep up with a current show. The third member of the Milk Planet sub unit is Karen Iwata who graduated in March 2016. Never knew much about her though thought she looked okay, not sure what her future plans are but she was in a film that came out in the beginning of the year which is only thing she's done since graduating.

The previous episode may have been the best through four shows, in case you missed the recap it dealt with a giant zombie standing 148 feet tall. At the end of that show a new mystery popped up, seems there's been many students who have disappeared one by one over the past two months, Two gals are nowhere to be found at the beginning of this episode, one was the class president Nakajima who was such a nice girl and helped everyone out.
The other missing student was Reiko who had a huge falling out with Momoka(Rina) in the last show. Momoka was a magazine model before the zombie epidemic hit, she's always thought of herself better than others. She had told Reiko she should feel privileged being her 'friend' which brought tears to Reiko's eyes. Shortly after that Reiko went missing, for now most feel Momoka could be behind the disappearance though it wasn't discussed after the opening minutes.
As you can see in the above screenshot the girls always need to be on the alert. Seems as though a zombie can disguise itself as a human, wonder if that means there's one hidden among the 23 remaining students? Also that pic above shows a group of four students led by Maiko and Mutsumi who are on the hunt for food and supplies.

The quartet were able to find a small grocery store and did stock up on useful supplies to the dismay of Maiko and Mutsumi who originally had wanted to help themselves to all of the beauty products. Doesn't look like a huge haul though as what they grabbed needed to feed 29 people, there are six other besides the female students.
On the way journey back to the school they passed by the local police department and decided to check it out. Not much was there save for one gruesome sight, that was of a dead officer who appeared to have shot himself in the head. The pistol still had three bullets in it, Mutsumi snatched it away just in case they should run into some zombies. On their journey the four had only run into a couple of zombies who were younger than they were but still needed to be killed.
But there was a trio of zombies waiting for the gal when they departed the station. The three were very young children probably between the ages of five to eight. Didn't seem as the three young females were full fledged zombies yet as they didn't try to attack our heroines plus they were able to eat snacks the girls gave them.

Seems the main goal for the three young zombiettes was to make their way back home. With the help of the four students they were able to locate their residence and were able to return the three to their mother who was also a zombie. There must be different kinds of zombies as the mother didn't try to attack the girls and was so pleased to see her children returned.
The happy time only lasted for a few minutes as another zombie appeared on the scene who appeared to be a full fledged one. The older male zombie started to attack Mustumi who was unable to use her gun but to her rescue came Arina who fought the zombie bravely but ended up being thrown to the ground. At that moment the male zombie jumped on her but that wasn't all as he manged to bite Arina before he was subdued. Mutsumi was able to get her pistol out and proceeded to fire all three remaining bullets into the zombie which killed him. Then again the question for all of these shows is how do you kill a zombie when they're already dead?
That male zombie had been the father of the three young zombies, not sure why he attacked the four gals then as his wife and daughters seemed to be 'nice' zombies. But what's done is done and it's time to return to the school with their supplies but instead of four it's only three who will return as they had to leave Arina behind as she appeared dead to them after she was bitten. With that final sad scene this third episode came to a close.

Enjoyable enough show but still think the 'Gakuen' dramas were a bit better but do like the cast quite a bit and that includes the non-AKB girls. Three of these recaps are now done, doing them all in a row so my brain is getting mushier than it usually is and the final recap for today is the next post.
