Nao Kanzaki: Nao's 'Top Twenty of All Time Faves' list.... #5!!!!

Think this may turn out to be one of the best posts for the series, have over a hundred pics and easily could have doubled that amount. What that means then is that there are many extra activities for future posts as there's not nearly as many as he deserves. Next post in the series will be called 'Stats', will look back at the previous sixteen selections and have who has been the oldest, yiungest, tallest, shortest, etc.
Bet the vast majority are probably thinking 'WHO?!', hopefully after you finish reading this post you'll be kicking yourself for not knowing of her sooner. Of course I'm talking about Yuki who is the oldest female to make the list as she'll be turning 43 on November 16th but to me she looks better the older she gets. As mentioned have over a hundred pics today and they cover most of career from the age of eighteen until an event two weeks ago.

Can only think of a handful of women who are more attractive than Yuki and like a few others who made the list there's not going to be any gravure pics but she's never needed to dress skimpy to turn heads. Yuki is a rarity as she's one of few who began her career as an actress, after three years of that she also started as a singer. But her singing career didn't last too long, from 1994 to 1999 and it's a shame as her final single "Rakuen" from August 1999 was her best one.
Think Yuki preferred being an actress much more but I highly recommend checking out her albums and videos on YT, will end off with a song at the bottom but unsure what it'll be yet. She had ten singles with the first six all making the top ten and five of her albums made the top twenty. Back in the 90's things were so much more conservative as there aren't many pics like the ones they have these days and may prefer the older ones to a certain extent. Yuki has a pair of photobooks but they were put out over twenty years ago, did post the scans years ago for her 1995 PB "YuKiss".

Out of the top twenty consider twelve to be mainly actresses though a few also had brief singing careers. But out of all the actresses Yuki by far has appeared on the most shows, I'd almost consider her to be one of the 'Drama Queens' of all time. If you want a full list of her dramas and films you need to check out a Japanese site as English ones are missing too many.
By my count have seen her in eleven dramas and two TV movies, not always easy finding her older shows and if you do they're usually not subbed. "Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta" wasn't one of her best shows she's appeared in but Yuki looked tremendous and think the long title may have been a reason for it being only so-so and it also starred another mega fave of mine.

That above drama aired in 2011, the following year Yuki had one of the five starring roles in one of the best dramas from the 2010's "Saigo Kara Nibanme no Koi". I really love that series and there was a second season of it along with a TV movie. Yuki's character in the show was one of her oddest roles to date and what an excellent actress she is.

Yuki does take chances with her roles, have also seen her in seven films with her best one being "Welcome to the Quiet Room". She had the lead role in the film which was released in 2007 and really the whole cast was top notch.

A film that was released exactly ten years prior to the above one was 'Cats Eye". Reviewed that film along with the above one though "Cats Eye" was just an average film but Yuki as Ai in the film certainly made all of us purr, these are from a mini book for the movie.

Magazines back in the 90's were so much tamer than the ones today. Yuki appeared in so many of them as she was one of the more popular actresses/singers back then. Have two stupendous spreads for today with this first set being from the December 1995 issue of Young Jump. These days seems all of their sets are of Idols in swimsuits but Yuki looks perfect dressed any way she chooses, bottom two pics rate an A+++++++.

Second spread is also from 1995 and the July edition of Dash, Yuki was promoting her TV movie "Boys over Flowers" and that was one fun movie.

Oooops, miscounted as there is one more mag spread. This set is somewhat newer as Yuki had the cover of the September 2009 issue of Harumo, looking mighty fantastic for being 33.

Not many actresses have appeared at as many events, premieres, press conferences and whatever as Yuki has. Have four of them for today and three are brand new. Did a post on this already but these are such prime pics will post a few again today which is from a 2012 TagHeuer event and there's a tremendous video on YT worth checking out of the event.

Yuki has dubbed the voice of the heroine Wasp in the two 'Antman and Wasp' films. The second one was just released but on July 8th she attended a press conference for the movie.

Yuki may be 42 but she still looks so incredible and beats almost everyone 15-20 years younger than her. The film had it's official premiere on August 28th at the TOHO Cinemas in Shinjuku.

So many actresses seem to slow down once they hit their late twenties or early thirties. Not so for Yuki who hasn't taken an extended break for over a decade now and has two dramas about to start. One will be the new NHK asadora "Mangobuko" that begins on October first, those shows run for 26 weeks and have 156 episodes.
Yuki's other drama is "Shinhannin" that starts up September 23rd on WOWOW. That series looks quite promising and her two co-stars are fine actors. Have a feeling it may not be subbed though as way too many on the WOWOW channel aren't. That video at the top of the post is from an event held on August 31st for the show and here are some pics from it.

As is the 'rule' will end off with some fabulous pics but as mentioned Yuki wasn't one to do gravure spreads but to me these pics beat 99.8% of Idol ones. At the top said I would have a video for one of her singles but instead have a somewhat long clip from a 1996 concert. Unlike too many Idols these days Yuki can actually sing at a show and what a fun concert it is. It's part one of the show and the other part is also on YT.
EDIT: Isn't it so sad how many videos get deleted from YT, why isn't there a better screening process before they're uploaded? So guess you surmised that concert was deleted fo in it's place gave such an alluring CM from 2008 to leave your mouth watering....
