Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: The 'Mai Shiraishi post' #22....

Next month will start on my second 'Top Ten Fave Nogi Members' list and will have two faves per week. Last year Mai was fifth on the list and sure she would rank higher on most other's lists, not positive yet but kind of have her penciled into the number four slot. Think she may have a chance to move up one more position but think my top two are set and have been for a while. Here's an oldie pic which really looks nice, wouldn't mind seeing more of Mai with that hairstyle.

Mai's "Passport" photobook has been out of the top ten for a few weeks now but it's sold over 220,000 copies which may be a record for an Idol. Not many different things for today but they total up to be fifty pics so thought it was time for another solo post.
There will be one on Sunday for her too as nine Nogi members will be taking a stroll on the catwalk at the 'Girls Awards' 2017 Autumn/Winter show. Will also be having posts for a few of the other members along with some gals from Keya and some of my other faves. Can't have a fashion show without Mai these days as she's currently the most popular Idol and right up there with any woman in Japan. Eleven days ago she was at the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Autumn/Winter show and though I had forty or so pics of her have even more for you to enjoy which weren't posted.

Posted these August cards already but the ones for September are brand new.

Can't give a reason why but Mai's appearances in magazines has really slowed down these last few months and just have one for today though there are 19 pics. All of her recent ones have been very conservative though Mai still looks A++++ to all of us, these are from the September issue of Ray.

When Mai graduates which may not be too far off in the future she'll have no problems with her career as she now represents so many companies. A new one is Nivea and she has two new CM's this week for them. In the last Nogi post had one of the new videos and here's the other one.
