MetsubouJinrai.net- Cyper-terrorist group whose purpose is to hack into HumaGears and turn them rogue or more precisely, Maigas
HumaGear- A.I. Humanoids developed by the Hiden Company to serve mankind
Magias- Rogue HumaGears, turned evil due to the hacking of MetsubouJinrai.net
About 2/3 of the way through this second episode had forgotten it was a Kamen Rider series as it seemed more like a Sentai show with a superhero. But something happened at that point in this show which seemed to me confusing as are there two Kamen Riders? What I'm hoping for is when I start writing what took place will become much clearer, it wasn't explained too fully which will probably happen in future shows. Will always have a different video at the top, for these first two recaps it's been a short preview of the episode.
Episode two title: Are A.I. Guys Enemies? Allies?
Hopefully you've read that first recap. In it 22 year old wanna-be comedian Aruto has inherited the presidency of Hiden Technology from his deceased grandfather. The company produces A.I. HumaGears which were created to serve mankind and make their lives much more enjoyable. At first Aruto refused the position but once he learned of the powers he could have, becoming the Zero-One hero, he accepted the position and will do anything for the company.
However many HumaGears have gone rogue or turned into Magias which is the name for a HumaGear once they turn evil. That's all through the sinister revenge group MetsubouJuinrai.net who want to avenge what happened in Daybreak Town twelve years ago. The middle two screenshots above feature the two main agents of the military group A.I.M.S. who know nothing of the fiendish terrorist group who are turning good HumaGears into evil ones. The pair have come to question Aruto about the HumaGears Hiden Technology produces, to them the company is behind all of the current rogue HumaGears or Magias.
Aruto naturally disputed their claims but was unable to tell them the truth about the Cyper terrorist group. Doing that he may have to reveal to A.I.M.S. that he can transform into Zero-One and that it was him who defeated the monster Berotha in the previous episode. While the meeting was going on an alarm sounded as you can see above, an intruder was creating havoc in the company's main entrance. What had taken place was that Jin from the MetsubouJuinrai.net group had transformed a HumaGear into a Magia, he's the only person who knows how to do it.
The four above rush to the scene where the once human looking Magia has now turned into a hideous creature. Yua and Isamu from A.I.M.S. open fire on the monster but to no avail as they're constantly ducking away from the spear like objects he's firing at them. Even though they're very adept agents it seems they'll be no match for this Magia and his troupe of Trilobites when Aruto decides it's time for him to step in to save the day as Zero-One.
Which is what Aruto did as he transformed into the hero. Along with the two agents from A.I.M.S. they were able to defend the huge crowd in Hiden Technology's lobby but soon the Magia disappeared without being defeated, we'll soon see it again. Meanwhile the agent Isamu wanted to have a talk with Aruto which took place on the company's roof. Isamu truly despises the company and it seems all HumaGears in general though they have been such a help to mankind. We still haven't learned exactly what took place but Isamu had been at Daybreak Town a dozen years ago when it was destroyed, he feels Hiden Technology was behind it or more aptly rogue HumaGears.
Didn't catch his name but there was a HumaGear security guard who Aruto liked very much as he helped in the fight against the Magia. Unfortunately for Aruto this HumaGear wasn't to remain a good one for long as the sinister Jin from MetsubouJuinrai.net has thrust his transformer into it's stomach creating a Magia. Once again the alarms blare at Hiden Technology as this new Magia is also on the warpath, the A.I.M.S group also quickly arrived on the scene. But it's not just the new Magia they and Zero-One are fighting as the previous rogue HumaGear has returned to the building. Hope it doesn't sound too confusing going back and forth saying Magia or rogue HumaGear, they mean the same thing.
Aruto, now as Zero-One, gets matched up against his former security guard and couldn't bring himself to attack such a nice HumaGear though of course he's now evil and just wants to kill. Soon that guard turned into a powerful monster and Zero-One had no choice but to attempt to destroy it. Which is what happened though Aruto thought he could bring the guard back to life as a good HumaGear, doing that is impossible he was told by his HumaGear aide Izu. So now with his ex-guard out of the way it's time for Zero-One to help defeat the other Magia, it was also the first instance where he learned he had a motorcycle as a special weapon, hence now Kamen Rider comes into play.
In the third screenshot above is Zero-One with his new motorcycle but he's not the only 'hero' with one. This is the part I mentioned above and was slightly confused, perhaps not now as I think there are going to be two Kamen Riders. The second one is the A.I.M.S. agent Isamu Fuwa who has had the ability before to transform into Kamen Rider Vulcan. But his leader above Yua had locked the gadget he needed to transform, she thought he was too out of control and needed to calm down a bit before she would allow him to use that power.
But somehow Isamu was able to break open the gadget, he knew what powers he could possess and to him using it was the only way to stop this very powerful Magia the pair of agents were battling. So now Isamu has transformed into Kamen Rider Vulcan and what a brutal fighter he is as in no time he was able to defeat the Magia. Kamen Riders do have a special motorbike but also many other abilities such as being able to jump very high, are much stronger plus have a seemingly endless arsenal of weapons they can have appear.
Both evil Magias have been destroyed and they were much powerful than the one in the first episode. It'll probably be the case as it's been in previous seasons which is that as the shows go on the Magias or other monsters become so much stronger. This show ended with the two new Kamen Riders eyeing each other, neither knew who the other one was and will they end up working as a team? My guess for now would be no as I would think they'll be enemies for a while though the do have the same goal which is to defeat the rogue HumaGears. The A.I.MS. team still think Hiden Technology is behind the new rash of monsters as they know nothing of the MetsubouJuinrai.net terrorist group.
Above is the new Kamen Rider Vulcan. Two entertaining shows and there's so much more that we need to learn which we will as these series usually last for fifty shows. Will be doing a pair of recaps such as the ones for today for a while though probably won't do the entire series but who knows? Not sure when the next pair will be done as there's one other drama I plan on having recaps for this weekend so perhaps there will be four of them next week.
