Kana Nakada: A little bit of this and that....

 

 Those two above are from Kana's second photobook which was released on May 27th and know many can't wait to see it. Which will be happening but one rule I've always abided by is waiting at least three months before posting the pics from a regular photobook so expect the book to begin off September which is less than two months away. By waiting I don't affect sales as books at the third month mark have sold about 98% of their copies and that way I don't need to be worried about any warnings about having books too soon though many other sites may, did have a pair of warnings about a decade ago but none since.

 This isn't a large post or at least when it comes to recent new pics. However there also some oldies that have never been in a post before along with some encore viewings so all in all may have over eighty pics of Kana for today. This is a semi-milestone post as this is her sixth for 2025 and for the first time she has qualified for the yearly faves list!!!! That brings a smile to my face as Kana has been a woman I've liked for a while, bet close to a decade but sadly was overshadowed often by her Nogi mates. It's getting close to five years since she graduated and when you think about how many other Nogi grads have been more successful than Kana? A few but not many and she's looking better than ever, there were many posts this year because of the photobook but I don't want to see these posts for Kana come to a halt and know she will have at least two more coming up. Did say that in September would posting her second photobook and will also have one shortly after August 6th as that's when birthday #31 will be taking place!

 That pic in a red top above was from a Nogi group photobook that came out in 2015, bet there were many like me who were dying to see Kana have her own PB and she hasn't disappointed us at with her two books! She also has three digital books so hope those will continue on in the future as how many pro Mahjong players are also PT gravure models?!!!! Sure most fans know that Kana did become a pro Mahjong player a little over four years ago, she's in the pro M League, co-hosts at least one show on the sport, has written a book about it and also enters many tournaments. Below are some recent photos from her IG page and do wish she would spice them up a bit, the one with her tears(!) are of her losing in the round of sixteen at the recent Mahjong World Championship and guess getting that far is an achievement, that first pic is the best of the bunch when she tried her luck at the horse track!

 For ex-Idols try to include older group cards for them, these days not nearly as many cards are released but that wasn't the case before 2020. Seeing as we're in July have plenty of Kana cards for this month which go backwards featuring the years 2019, 2018 and 2017. To me these are some fairly snazzy cards plus none of the 32 have ever been posted here before. Kana may not have enough time in her busy schedule but would like to see her do more acting. She's been in three stage plays plus had the lead role in the 2014 horror flick "Death Blog" and I highly recommend that movie.

 Only have one new magazine spread so let's go back a bit in time for this sizzling Kana set from the November 15th issue of Friday that was promoting a new digital book. These days I often include an older spread or two in posts as I hate seeing such terrific photos as these are become forgotten about.

 The new spread is from the July edition of Gekkan Young Magazine, once again Kana is the cover girl and she's had that honor at least five times this past year.

 That above spread was promoting the second book and as mentioned will be having it here soon. Will end off with a few pics from the photobook and in some good news it's been a solid seller as a second reprint just took place. Think there will also be a special digital version coming out and will have news on that in her next post which should be shortly after Kana's August 6th birthday. What Kana needs are some gravure videos, what a shame there were none for the book. After the pics have a shortish one from BLT Graph that had I had never seen before and she certainly does steam things up....
