Yui Kobayashi: Now has perhaps the top post of the year!!!!

 

 I've posted that first pic many times before and why not as it is a classic! In most Idol photobooks there's at least one pic of them brushing their teeth and I've always wondered is it supposed to show how pure they are? Who knows but one thing I am definitely sure of which is that pic of her scouring her teeth is the best by far out of the thousands there must be! Both those above are from her second photobook and what a shame we may never see any more scorching pics like those but she did leave us many and even Yui's 😍 non-gravure pics to me often get a rating of 10/10!!!! In the next post and also many others have said how I'm unbiased when it comes to lists and rankings, for the most part I am except for one woman. Who of course is Yui or why else would I have brought that subject up?! Will confess I adore her more than any other woman I've ever done posts for and though she's not my current #1woman she was for a while and there is a chance for her to regain the crown! I do tend to favor Yui when it comes to lists and such, just because I may not be doing a huge amount of posts for her doesn't mean she's not on my mind! For I do gape at her photos too frequently plus have made up a few DVD's which I tend to watch often though think it's time for some new videos and hope she's listening....

 For five years have said often how Yui is the most likable woman I do posts for, not saying she is to everyone reading this but to me she's easily the most likable. She's not back to the level of busyness she was at while with Keya(Sakura) but Yui's activities have picked up a bit over the last few months and the next couple months should continue to be busy. Even though no one will ever top an ex-SKE member for posts I try harder to to do them for Yui over anyone and this post will be her best one in eons! It's also her sixth post for the 'Nao Year' so for the sixth consecutive year Yui has qualified for the faves list and only one other woman can brag about that. Since 2020 her yearly positions have been tenth, eleventh, FIRST, third and sixth. That tenth could have been a bit higher and that happens every year with someone, in 2021 she was just eleventh because of going on hiatus for three months. In all honesty last year a few deserved to be ranked higher than her but as mentioned I tend to favor Yui 😍 over everyone else and will admit I am biased when it comes to ranking her but to me that's not a bad thing at all!

 These days never check out any of the variety shows for the three '46' groups. The shows aren't as interesting or fun as they once were plus all of the first generation members have departed from the groups and they were my favorites. For so long those shows were entertaining and Keya's was the best of them all! What I enjoyed was that the hosts didn't make themselves the focus of the show and we did learn so much about the members such as their hobbies, likes/dislikes, school, goals, etc. A couple of times Yui was the feature of an episode, think five in all which could be a record for Keya. One thing I never heard her talk about was Mangas or Animes and they are popular among J-Pop Idols. She did mention about not being a person who goes out often and is kind of a loner(by choice), she tends to play a lot of games or watch TV at home. Yui is a huge drama fan and does binge on them but not just regular shows but many with a Sentai or Superhero theme! Those kinds of shows are also popular with Idols and she does have many interesting pastimes so wish she wasn't so quiet but on the other hand I prefer women that way as I'm like that too though I tend to talk non-stop in many of these posts...

 Gulp, keep hoping she'll give me some hands on training.... where's that Genie in a lamp when I need him the most?! Sometimes I need to take a brief detour in these posts and will be doing so now for a paragraph or two. Wrote the above up last night and then took a break, it's now Saturday morning and am wrapping this up. Did mention how Yui enjoys Sentai and Super Hero shows though she never said what her favorites were. I'm also a huge fan of those series but have slacked off badly with watching them over the last year or so but recently vowed to begin viewing them again. In the last two drama posts said my next show to recap will be a Sentai series but not sure which one it will be as I have so many terrific ones to choose from. Also have many superb ones on DVD, those I tend not to recap and just watch on my TV as it's nice kicking back not having to worry about taking screenshots and notes. Sure she's a fan of Ultraman and who isn't, I talk about that show often but really haven't see all that much of it.

 So took that break last night to begin on the first season of "Ultraman" which aired in 1966 and after will dive into a few other series in that vein. The bottom pic below is the DVD cover which is the one I have and has the first twenty episodes of the series, 39 aired in all. I've had this DVD for over ten years and have only watched it once so knew that had to change so began on it last night. Viewed the first five episodes and glad I made the decision to watch this but what about the other 19 episodes? That's a good question so may have to hunt those down but least I also have the first half of the "Ultraman Tiga" series that aired in 1996/97 to tide me over. Have also just recently acquired the "Ultraman Taro" 1973/74 series and also the "Ultraman Tiga and Dynaman" movie, those two am thinking of recapping though not for at least a month. Below are some first season Ultraman pics and at times this is the only chance I get to talk about various topics, would like to hear more from you viewers about this or other Sentai series that you would recommend. **** In kind of a humorous tidbit a key guest character in the fifth episode was a reporter named.... Kobayashi!

 That series is kind of cheesy but fun, most of the time I prefer the special effects in older dramas and movies as they're not so high-tech and took some ingenuity to create. Back to Yui and both of us being Sentai fans is another thing we have in common in case she's reading this!!!! So while there hasn't been a lot of recent activities do have over fifty new pics since her last post which was done five weeks ago. Also have some older things that had never been posted before along with some encore viewings of previously posted photos so there should easily be over a hundred pics and her posts have always been larger than anyone else, once I start adding photos in it becomes impossible for me to stop....

 That was a long intro and because fewer posts are done these days try to make these large and as mentioned Yui usually has the hugest posts. What I wish was larger was the amount of views her posts get, they're extremely consistent as far as how many views they receive which means she must have a solid core of fans here. First off are these ancient Keya cards from 2016 with the first four being for June and July. Which makes them rare as they were the only monthly cards for Keya for after those the others are for the Summer of 2016 as they began to have cards just for the four seasons. Could have had more Summer cards but am hoping there will be two more posts before the season ends.

 Well, that bottom pic isn't a card but one I had to include.... your performance better get a grade of A++++ on your wedding night or else that'll be the end of your(my?) honeymoon.... or life!!!! Those above cards are new for here but the batch below aren't but were included in some early 2020 posts and hadn't been seen again until now! Which means these are probably brand new for many of you reading this and the cards are from 2018/19. These cards were promoting the group's 'Keyakise' game which ended late in 2019, the new group game that began up after was 'Uni's on Air'. The pics for that game are also terrific but to me these are the best game cards for any '46' group.... hmmmm, the 'Nogi Fes' cards are a close second....

 Have some more older pics that hadn't been posted before and these are from October 2018. Yui has two photobooks, her second came out around her 23rd birthday in October 2022 and what a steamy book that was! However I give the edge to her March 2019 book though only by a slight margin and how we fans would love to see a third book.... once again, does anyone have a Genie in a lamp?! Yui traveled to London for the photo shoot, she went there in October 2018 and while there celebrated her 19th birthday which took place on the 23rd, this year she will hit the age of 26. The first pics below are for a pair of parties they had in London while the others are from some photo shoots there. EDIT: Before beginning on "Ultraman" had just finished the third season of the eleventh doctor and am talking about the fantastic "Doctor Who" series which is in my top five of all time! The Doctor's mode of transportation is called the Tardis which is an old police call box and those are now extinct. What's also no longer around is the red phone box she's leaning against below and being a huge fan of dramas and hero series wonder if she's ever viewed any of the Doctor series?

 Yui was one of Keya's(Sakura) best singers even though she never centered a single and was also their best dancer by far. Very few Idols continue on with their singing careers but she is and will be going under the name of Yousti.... it's combination of her name and an Ostrich and think it can also mean escape from reality. On August 27th Yui will be releasing a mini album called "Yousti", only know of one track to date but there will probably be at least seven tunes on the album. The song that's been released already is titled "Day Dreamer" and the video already has close to 800,000 views. I've watched it a few times and it is a decent song, Yui looks terrific and what a dancer she is. My one negative is the vocals as I hate when the sound engineers fiddle with voices to give that echo/reverb sound and hopefully the other songs will feature her regular singing voice which to me is superb. Wouldn't mind if she rocked out a bit on those other tunes but don't think she's much of a rock fan though hope I'm wrong.  Would love to see her open a YT channel and so many of the women I do posts for used to have channels but the number has rapidly dwindled and wonder why? Yui hasn't added in a any new photos to her IG page the past month but has uploaded these behind the scenes pics from the photo shoot for the above video. 

 This has been a long post so far and there's still plenty of pics to be added in, could have made this even larger but had to control myself.... not easy when it's a Yui post!!!! It was two years ago when her gig as a With magazine model ended and that was a shame as their modeling pics were so super duper. Have an encore viewing of some older ones from the Autumn of 2019 when Yui hit the age of twenty and still can't believe how women like her aren't too far away from hitting the age of thirty!

 Wasn't going to have any magazine spreads for today but will have one from With. This is from their July 2020 issue and it being the month guess it's kind of appropriate.

 Back in March 2023 Yui began as a model for the andGirl magazine but rarely has any spreads. However the photos at their site have been increasing this year and this batch of pics have all come out in the past month.... sigh, looking more perfect than ever!😍

 We've finally hit the end and though this took a while to do I was in Seventh Heaven the entire time! For the finale have some ultra perfect pics of Yui 😍 and I can never get tired of these, know I say so and so may be my #1 or is also ultra perfect but no one tops her in either of those categories!!!! The only newish video is for the "Day Dreamer" song so will go way back in time for an oldie which has never been posted before. It's over fourteen minutes long but I've viewed it at least a dozen times and it features many entertaining outtakes from Keya's old 'Keyakitte' group variety show, you can see how young she was in many of the clips.
