Kokoto Sasaki: Her enchanting.... "Akegata no Yume" photobook scans....

 

 Do have a self imposed rule where I wait at least three months before posting a regular photobook, that's thirteen weeks and think 98% of the time I wait at least that amount of time. Mainly wait a while as not to affect sales, figure if someone hasn't bought a book within three months odds are high they won't. So I'm two weeks early with this book and it wasn't a huge seller so know sales won't be affected, perhaps these pics will may persuade a few to buy the actual hard copy and does that happen often? Took Friday off and also almost did that for today but hate to have too many of them though it is the Summer and I too deserve a mini vacation now and again! So that's a big reason for having this post today so may take tomorrow off instead and wanted to leave you with three posts but the below two are for an old Sentai show and wanted to get going on that as it is a long series. Sometimes I need to take a day or two off to work on posts, for example there are two posts I need to work on and one is for a current Nogi member. That post should be popular and at times need to take days off to edit pics, take screenshots, find out info, etc. which is what I need to do tomorrow and perhaps even Tuesday.

 Not positive but fairly sure that of all the members in Nogi's first two generations Kotoko is the most unknown of them and bet many couldn't even pick her face out of a lineup! She truly was the most overlooked member of the 23 who formed the first two generations and that's probably happened in other large J-Pop Idol groups also. But did have a fair amount of Kotoko pics in group posts though less than others which did bum me out to a certain extent as I always thought she had one of the most attractive faces in Nogi. There were nine second generation members, my top three Nogi gals are from 2G and between them must have over 150 solo posts! Then there's a graduate who has had over thirty of those in the last two years, four others also have some solo posts between them. BUT this is the first ever solo post for Kotoko and guess it's a case of better late than never, I had slightly been following her solo career which is going well so good for her. She is an extremely quiet/shy woman and many more Idols than you think are also like that such as the massive fave of mine who had a post yesterday.

 There was only one 2G member that was younger than Kotoko who on August 28th will be hitting the age of 27. While I was writing that date it occurred to me that's the exact date another huge favorite woman of mine will be turning that age, it now makes three sets of women who share the exact day and year of their birth! It's been over five years since Kotoko left Nogi and it was at a bad time as it was the Spring of 2020. Because of the virus so many concerts were cancelled and her graduation one was but there was a special second generation concert streamed live from the studio and that may have worked out better for Kotoko. She hails from the Saitama city of Honjo and is 163 cm in height, did say her solo career is going well. After graduating Kotoko became a voice actress and that's a good choice as I adore those woman and am getting close to a hundred posts for them.

 Her current voice acting role is doing the character of Yugiri in the "Hasunosora Girls High School Idol Club" and think it's a spinoff from the 'Love Live!' series which the Aqours troupe has made popular. On to Kotoko's first ever photobook and she was one of the few from Nogi's first two generations who never had one, bet this came about because of her voice acting. Some of the photo shoots took place in her hometown of Honjo, the pics set in a school were taken in the city of Saga which is on the island of Kyushu and think that's the setting of her current anime. That started airing one month before this book's May 15th release, don't think it was expected to be a huge seller and in it's first week out 3,800 copies were sold. Week two had sales of close to 700 so sure the book has gone over 5,000 copies sold and that's not too bad of a number. If you were hoping to see Kotoko doing gravure photos then you will be disappointed as there's zero of those which isn't a negative and actually books like these are breath of fresh air on occasion. I think Kotoko looks so darn adorable in these pics and sometimes I hate it when most people only notice women when they're so scantly clad, there's not one thing wrong with these 134 photos and has she retained any fans from her Nogi days? EDIT: Kotoko's also become a stage actress appearing in two already this year with three more lined up!
