Maria Makino: A semi-sizzling.... 'A little bit of this and that post'....

 

 Not patting myself on the back(too much!) but the posts to date for this month has been my best ever stretch for posting it seems and not sure why. Actually one big reason could be the posts have been for my ultra favorite women and I tend to work harder on their posts. All have been huge with over a hundred photos so need to cool down a bit and hopefully this will be a but smaller. Well, usually when I say that the post tends to be just as massive which could be true with this post, not as many sections but most will be rather large. So July is right now the best month of the year for posts, both quality and quantity, and hope this trend continues for a while as we deserve some good luck after such a long streak of mainly bad....

EDIT: Even after saying what a fabulous month it's been up to now still think I will be taking Friday off. Could perhaps do a post but think that or any others would end up better if I waited a day or two. There's an even more important reason and that's because I just started on my next series to be recapped, it's an old Sentai show from 1983-84 titled "Kagaku Sentai Dynaman" and what a thrilling first show! The action was non-stop and what else never ceased was how many new things were thrown at us and my head is still spinning! Those first two recaps, especially the first, will take a while to write up but in the end run it's worth it for you viewers who enjoy those kinds of shows. So if I'm AWOL for a day or so it's not that I'm taking it easy but the opposite would be happening writing up those recaps.

 You viewers and myself don't agree often with who our mega favorite women are but one we do is Maria 😍 and I still think she has the best figure of any woman I post about, WOWOWOWOW! But the posts have really dwindled since the Spring of 2024 and can't understand why as Maria could be the most popular current member of Morning Musume plus what current J-Pop Idol has had more gravure spreads and photobooks than her the past five years? None have but the mag spreads have really slowed down though have a terrific new one for today. This is her third post for 2025, there was one in February for Maria's 24th birthday and the next was on June 2nd. In that last post made a vow to myself and her fans that Maria would have one post a month for the remainder of the year, it's not going to be easy but I enjoy creating posts out of virtually nothing for my massive faves. Regardless of what I said above this will end up being a large post as far as photos go and keep your fingers crossed I can keep this up for another five months.

 Whew, Maria 😍 has always been so ultra alluring to my eyes but even more so with each passing year so why hasn't she been appearing in more magazines, what woman can top those above pics?!!!! Will begin off with some recent IG photos but there's been so few over the last six weeks, a pair are with an ex-MM gal who had a post four days ago while the bottom is with another ex who just departed.

 Least the first pic above was overly superb and another thing lacking are new group cards. But the top four below are some from 2024 that had been missed and I miss the old days when Hello Project members would have about a dozen cards a month.

 On July 2nd Morning Musume released their 75th single "Kin ni Naru Sono Ki no Uta", as I've said before their singles from 1998-03 are almost impossible to top! There was a dip in the quality of songs for a while but the singles from the past eight or so years have usually been quite good.... better than most '46/48' groups. This new single is solid though think the previous few were better but very often it takes me a while to warm up to a single. First week sales were a little over 83,000 copies sold and that was a decrease of 20,000 from the group's last single. A huge reason for the drop is because it had been almost a year since their last single and to me releasing singles so infrequently is never a positive. They need to get back to the years or releasing three singles instead of one or two. Below are the covers for the single along with some promo pics, following them is the PV for the tune and it's the final single for Morning Musume's longest tenured member.

 

 The record for being in Morning Musume the longest is a little over fourteen years and members have been staying longer which to me is a huge positive. Maria is about to hit eleven years with the group so if she remains until the second half of 2028 she'd set a new record. In her last post had some screenshots from a special Morning Musume DVD called 'Best Shot 27', it was from the photo shoot for volume 27 of the magazine which comes out sporadically. It's magazine/book that features a different Hello Project group in each edition, the DVD was 83 minutes long. With a dozen members you'd expect each to get about seven minutes of screen time but of course the producers knew who the fans would want to see the most of and of course that's Maria!!!! Who had almost sixteen minutes of solo screen time or over twice as much as anyone else. In that last post had some sweltering screenshots from the DVD, have even more for today and in all honesty what current Idol can top her dazzlement(?)!!!!

 In February Maria's eleventh photobook was released and she may set a record for H!P books, think it's fourteen. Even better than the sizzling photos are the 65-70 minute DVD's that come with the books and I've probably watched more long gravure videos of Maria than anyone else and all have been within the last four years. Have more screenshots and will admit I love taking these as it means I'm yet again watching Miss Perfect on the screen! The photo shoot took place in Guam, Maria's previous post had screenshots up until the eight minute mark, these go up to twenty and will have more in future posts.

 Will end off with a pair of magazine spreads and of course both will make you dive into a cold shower(!), one is new while this first is a bit older. This set is from the September 27, 2021 issue of Young Magazine and there's a reason for having an older spread from this mag.

 This final set is another from Young Magazine, it's brand new as it's from their July 28th issue. As you can see Maria is the cover girl and it's her 19th time having the honor for this magazine over the last eight years which is a record for them, six covers have also featured other Morning Musume members.
