Decided to put these two fabulous females together as we should be seeing them so much of them in the next two months. On April 23rd "I Am A Hero" will be released and as you can see by the above poster when you have two female leads such as them then that film will certainly be a must watch. Will be posting more about soon I would think as there should be a few promo events and screenings for it happening shortly.
Both were in attendance on March 4th at the 39th 'Japan Academy Awards' ceremony, very few times in history as anyone topped Masami at an event but think Kasumi may just have done it!
The pair were once again nominated for awards and sadly both didn't win one. Masami was up for 'Best Supporting Actress' for her role in the "Umimachi Diary" film, she had won 3-4 awards for her role prior to this show but surprisingly this time someone else took the honors.
Kasumi too failed to win the 'Best Actress' award again for her role in the "Biri Girl" movie, she had already won a few awards already for it and I highly recommend that movie as it was one of the best for 2015. Don't know why but what she won was a 'Rookie of the Year' award, she's been around so long why would she win something like that?
Been checking but couldn't find a video for the event, it did just take place today so perhaps that's the reason. If a video of the show does come out tomorrow will be back and post one or two of them along with many more pics from the ceremony.
