Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: Softbank promo event pics and video

This is post #485 for the group so the milestone 500th post will be happening very soon from now. At this current pace would expect it to happen before the end of the month. Will try to work on some special post for that milestone but don't have any ideas(as usual) at the present time, suggestions are always welcome.

If you live in Japan then the group's 14th single has been out for close to nine hours. Have heard it a few times, it's okay but think most of their other singles are much better though the PV for it was one of their better ones. Single #13 "Ima, Hanashitai Dreka ga Iru" which was their previous single has been their best seller to date, the number for this single to beat is 626,000 copies for it's first week and 740,000 for total sales.
There are a few promo tie-ins such as one with 7-Eleven and for Softbank, the group was at a promo event for the latter today. Part of their promo campaign is aimed at students who can get discounts for purchasing the single and for concert tickets. Also they'll be giving away free autographed posters for some lucky winners, may not be 100% correct but think it's somewhat close as I needed to translate from the Softbank site, think my Japanese reading though has really been improving.
The group sang a few tunes at the event which was for a new Softbank Smartphone, kind of a different look with those fluffy suits but they suit me well enough. The most surprising thing about the event is that there's a good video of it, 95% of the time there never is for one of their events and you can view it after the pics.
