Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Anna Ishibashi: "Leap" photobook promo event pics and video

Did Anna's first solo post earlier today and it's proved to be quite popular so figured why wait a few days until her next post? Mentioned that I was going to start on her "Lost Days" drama from 2014 and did watch the first episode. There's a total of ten shows and unsure whether I should watch the whole series and then do ten posts for it or do two recaps at a time, leaning toward the latter option.

Did watch half of it when it first came out but didn't finish it for some reason which I can't remember, forgot everything that happened but the first show started out okay. Will be doing another mag spread post over the weekend and perhaps a few other things too as she's the kind of gal I enjoy so much. Anna does some gravure work but not that much compared to others, it's a shame as she looks fabulous and perhaps not doing more gravure work is why she doesn't appear in as many mags.

This post is about Anna's second photobook "Leap" which was released on August 27, 2014 and since then she's had one more PB. Anna was at a fan signing session for the book on September 6th, kind of dressed conservatively at the event but that's one of the things I like so much about her. Some actresses/Idols have to dress skimpy to get a person's attention, Anna doesn't need to and looks so superb in these pics.
There were 700 fans in attendance at the event which was held at the Fukuya store in Shinjuku, probably had to pre-order the book to get entered into a lottery for the event. The pics for the book were taken in Okinawa, above is the cover for it and doesn't Anna look amazing!? Plenty of pics here from the event and check out a superb video from it, actually the only one I could find.
Mentioned a few times that Anna doesn't appear in enough mags but have enough for another two posts. However she does appear at so many premieres, promo events, screenings and the like so there will be plenty of those posts coming up soon. Her next film comes out on June 10th and is titled "Confessions of Murder" so there should be plenty of new pics for it coming up soon.
