Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: 2017 Magazine scans #24 and more....

Erika has been quite busy this year but most of that has been for stage plays. Have kind of missed posting about her as she had zoomed up on my fave members list, still feel as though she'll be the next Senbatsu member to graduate though I hope that won't be happening for a while. Those above two fabulous pics are bonus ones for Erika's new WPB spread, have that set of fine pics at the bottom of the post and here are the other bonus pics from the photo shoot.

One Senbatsu member who seems to have been forgotten about is Sayuri, can't think of the last time she had a solo spread. She's a big anime fan and on April 18th she appeared at the DVD release event for the "Dragon Ball- The Magical Forest and the Secret of Crystal" movie. She also had a minor voice role in the film, she does have the kind of voice which would do well in anime films so perhaps that's a future career for her.

Misa's first solo photobook comes out in five days, have a few new things about her but will save them for her next solo post. The sales for the current books are slowing down but three of the books released this year still made the Oricon top ten and here are the current sales figures.

Mai 'Passport'- 181,258
Asuka 'Shiosai'- 89,839
Nanami '2017'- 80,756
Manatsu 'Manatsu no Kiatsu Haichi'- 47.450

Nanase 'Kaze wo Kigaete'- 137,000

Mai's PB was the best seller of the lot from the last week selling 4,411 copies to rank third on the chart and is inching so close to 200,000 sold. Manatsu's book has now dropped out of the top ten so may not be able to get her future figures. Nanase's is my own estimate from adding up most of the weeks since it was released in September, it's been in the top ten for close to seven months now.
Big slow down recently with Nogi mag spreads but with June issues coming out there should be plenty coming up. Nanase last year had too many solo spreads to count but that hasn't been the case this year though she does appear every month in Non-no and these are from their June edition.

Erika was in the stage play "Romeo and Juliet" which finished up at the end of February. Her next role will be of Cosette in the "Les Miserables" play, that begins on May 25th which is one day after the release of the group's third album. The play will be going on until October(!), appears as though we will be seeing even less of her in the future.
Hope Erika can take some time off as Nogi's Summer tour should be starting in July. No news on that yet but they do perform 15-20 concerts during the months of July and August. First pic is the only one from the June issue of Non-no, rest of the pics are from the April 26th edition of WPB as she also was the cover gal.
