Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

C-ute: Their 31st and final single news #2....

C-ute's final single "To Tomorrow/Final Squall/The Curtain Rises" sold an impressive 66,470 copies in it's first week out which was their second highest total ever. Sadly though it just reached #2 on the Oricon charts which means the group never had a #1 weekly single. On the positive side it was         C-ute's 31st straight top ten single, only one single didn't make it to the top six which was "Dance de Bakoon!". That's strange that it only reached the eighth position, notice in their concerts that's usually their most popular number and would be in my top five for their singles.
Also the group will be releasing their final album on May 3rd "Complete Singles Collection". As the title says it'll have all of their singles but also in the collection will be all of the B-sides along with a disc of rarities, six discs in all and the deluxe edition will have a concert. That date is two days after C-ute's final group photobook release, would like to see a few more member books.
Airi's final PB came out last Friday, was hoping there would be an event for it but that didn't happen and hopefully there will be one this weekend. Didn't have enough things for a solo post for her but have a few new tidbits with the first being from last week's 'Airi's Potion' radio show.

Airi has been a model with the Ray magazine for many years now, she has a new untitled feature every week at their site and here are the pics from this week.

Not as many H!P cards recently but have some here for the current single and for their Spring tour.

Ending off with these covers from the latest single, there were seven versions in all. Also don't think I've posted any of the videos yet so here's one of the three songs which is "Final Squall" and it's subbed in English. Few other Hello Project groups are in that second pic including Juice=Juice.
