Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

C-ute: 'C-Fes 2016' cards #2

Think the group that sounds most similar to C-ute these days is Juice=Juice who is also a part of Hello Project. Have done a few posts on two members but may start doing even more soon as they've crept up into my top five list as far as fave J-Pop groups go. Was playing that CD above yesterday for about the umpteenth time, highly recommend it as every tune is a winner, their "Second Squeeze" is almost as good. The members aren't as young as they look as they're all in the 18-22 year old range or will be in a few months. The group's leader is Yuka who is 22, this Saturday she has a photobook coming out so hopefully will be doing a post for it.
They performed, along with many other H!P groups, at C-ute's final 'C-Fes' festival which took place from September 5th to the 10th. Posted a few concert pics but don't have many more here, think that's because the shows will probably be coming out on DVD soon. Few days ago posted their 2017 calendar and there will be a second one as I was just at the Hello Project shop and the second one is now ready to pre-order.
Single #30 will be coming out in six weeks, still no title or other info on it has been released. Hopefully that won't be their final one, would expect(hope) some sort of 'farewell single' to be released in the Spring. Not many concert pics from the annual fest but there are a lot of cards and other promo pics from it.
